And in Obama's focus has been here at home but what about abroad.
-- another four years of president Obama's foreign policy look like.
Let's ask KT McFarland former deputy assistant secretary of defense of Fox News contributor KT always love having you on the show -- we've been focused like a laser on -- on the fiscal -- the tax problems they're gonna hit this country in -- nano second if we don't do something.
But there's a whole other issue people are ignoring and that's foreign policy.
Who really the winners and losers and how can I think for the most part when the economy is bad like it is now people care about -- policy as hard to get excited about the Middle East.
When nobody has a job in the midwest.
So that being said here's what's gonna happen in the next -- big loser Israel.
The president's very steady stepping away from Israel.
The question Israel has as -- the United States help us stop Iran the big winner a run around -- probably be a deal with Iran at some point.
And I think the president started deal with a country like that well here's the deal would look like they wouldn't -- be allowed to get -- To the point of having nuclear weapons -- -- wouldn't actually have and -- it's called being one screwed turn away from being a nuclear power.
And then we went -- recognize some normalized relations now what's gonna happen as a result of that.
Well either all those countries in the -- start accommodating Iran and letting Iran -- the country that is the dominant power of the controls.
The Persian gulf the controls the flow borrow.
Or -- are getting their own jokes either way not a good thing.
Now now and any other winners and losers you wanna job the president big issue of the big names but the big tragedy I think -- that's coming our way is the veterans.
We have always -- after Vietnam we would never do that -- -- -- -- would never take it out on them.
But what tends to happen unpopular wars.
People come home everybody forgets about the -- and we have a serious commitment to them but I think we're just we're starting to cover already the metal health benefits and that.
And the medical there's more talk about it now because of the fiscal -- absolutely worst was -- to -- lot easier to -- guys who can't go out on strike that it is to cut.
Government workers -- well and it's it's a good thing to bring up today of all day and -- veterans day.
I do you wanna talk to -- about a map we thought you -- that this is funny because the president made phone calls.
Responding to various foreign leaders here you sit and sent him an and eight email voicemail whatever saying congratulations you -- And take a look at Q the president responded to it's telling what do you -- -- that map its well.
And -- fed tired tells -- that we we have an enemy centric foreign policy.
We're not as chummy with our European allies -- -- whether you call Reitman began.
We've got a couple of Middle East countries group's -- much happened in Africa.
And then the pivot to Asia doesn't look like it happen at all there were no broke phone calls -- aviation countries it's interesting because it's telling what people do.
In the moments they think they're nothing but not -- it happened -- and what -- -- -- he didn't call Afghanistan and Iraq we have just spent a decade.
-- trillions of dollars and bled for those countries and those two countries are going to be lost wars and we're gonna walk away -- -- on Iran.
Well I I hope -- -- -- where this administration's going that seems to be where it's headed.
I wanna talk about Petraeus then for a second to -- this was was heartbreaking to you what happened it was eighteen hours a friend I was in Afghanistan.
Right after Paul abroad -- -- I think it's just a great track let's explain -- the players here.
I General Petraeus heading the CIA this woman Hugh was writing a biography about him the two of them had a relationship he is incredibly well respected well regarded amounts honored military leader in -- generation.
And he resigned without the right thing to do I think you had to resign once it became public.
I think they're awful lot of other questions so that need to be asked what we're still talking about -- bouncy.
What happened General Petraeus is probably the one guy who doesn't know what happened we need to have until we -- to have him testify and at this point the public.
Oh is that is and we need an explanation of what happened what would you expect out of Petraeus testimony on bad -- well what are the things that happened was when Fox News broke the story that the CIA have been told to stand down during that attack.
That CIA then issued a statement from Petraeus is very mouth supposedly saying.
No one at the CIA at any level at any time denied assistance of the CIA.
Now killed.
They got a bank -- say now if that.
Is the case -- who did it begs the question somebody denied that security somebody told them we can't get your hands and they have to hear him talk about it yet and there will be hearing later this week and I and it -- he's not test China don't now that he's a free now there's no longer CIA official.
The deputy speaking not Petraeus but I think that committee.
Will get him to testify voluntarily.
Or they'll subpoena him.
A long way to get -- thanks for coming on today are always love having you thank you.
