And it is veterans day and we are joined by veteran.

Here in the slash Li Escobar -- kind of self of -- veteran pinot noir yes and you can explain of that is for us.

-- -- -- those of us who are military members particular skills and our core values in the military actually apply them into businesses.

So that you know.

And you have.

Many businesses up your sleeve but a lot of real estate deals restaurants.

Describe -- experience that if you are well one of the biggest thing is this is I've always learned from the time I was going up that I could always do better have more and I had a mother.

Who was actually -- when the army as a private and then and then and the retiring as a major banks in the struggle that she went to the military -- was -- stone.

-- the struggle she went to take ever family I remember growing up -- wanted to sense of safety and so of course the military is one of the avenues that would go into -- and that -- US safety for financial safety.

And then as I was going.

That the military part going to my home base of my officer basic course I realize that problem questions in my knees and I really couldn't pass the PT test like I needed to to be competitive in the active duty were also into the reserves.

And I was able to apply what I -- the reserves into my business world into my businesses to achieve where I -- and -- was that that you that you found.

But one of the biggest things is we're -- leadership I mean that's very important.

And really our skills in the military are really entrepreneurial skills and in the military we every every military service have what are called core values right leadership loyalty.

And excellence at all those are actually entrepreneur -- entrepreneurial about us.

But the biggest problem that -- -- -- -- -- military member gets out of the military there only were only given a couple choices what is it go to school.

All or -- get a job in the end resulted in job but they're never given the choice to become a veteran and -- Yes I wanna talk about that a little bit more with you a lot of companies you say are kind of a little prejudice torrents.

People who -- because they feel that might have some.

Psychological.

Problems or it maybe they don't want to -- -- -- to be deployed again so there is some price.

Witnesses that you're seeing in the workplace absolutely they -- right now I've read the other day in about.

There's certain employers that when they see eight an application from someone who's in the military previous military experience.

The put at the bottom of the pie don't know either because their skills old -- they feel like they're still don't translate to visit the world war because the word about PT SD.

-- and I've seen also -- Landlords are saying they don't wanna put our veterans inside property because of PTV what.

Explain PT SD and how oriented should be about from your perspective yes there on the right.

As as an army chaplain we have been able to counsel a lot of soldiers and be therefore gonna take care of and in.

I think we're -- something bigger than what it really is a -- there's a lot of psychological issues that are are taking place because of them having PT SD however there -- a way to curb and the way to -- it has given them a sense of purpose.

And it really wouldn't here in the military you have the sense of purpose every day from time to wake up to the time to go to bigger and live in the state of creativity.

And then when you get out into the civilian world that creativity goes from really -- like.

What's next.

So we give our military -- there was a sense of purpose and we give our military members that that confidence.

That it really is able to be manageable.

And that's one thing I do in my book which soldiers -- really push into our veterans or -- our military service members and really anyone who's in the battle for financial freedom being used his skills yeah you just fuels be aware.

Yeah that you can he'll be there.

You gave me facetiously this undocumented.

-- metal -- can you extend -- -- can get up.

Close shot on this but can you explain exactly what this since.

Blacks in the military we have a tradition every sort of -- service has a tradition of giving -- -- from over special achievements or afford to boost morale -- I gave that corn this -- -- on behalf of our military members and to send thank you -- a flag -- pile of -- them both of our freedoms.

The flag freedom gives us the opportunity to choose our financial -- right there.

Flag on top of the pile of money and if we compiled the full -- we can see -- -- -- developing.

A rich soldier would be a Volvo is one of -- -- right here on the back as well there's that is above mean.

Involved -- -- the rules of money have changed the annals of retirement have changed.

The rules trend.

Moving from the service world into the civilian world has changed so the first things you have to be aware that there is a change it then once you're aware of that and -- give -- the opportunity and the ability to start searching for another avenue to start making that change.

Yeah and educate yourself and then finally just executed and as they get to educate yourself what you don't know I am -- I -- today because of -- because of education.

And and because of people invest themselves and -- we don't know what we don't know and what you learn it.

Put an action execute like we're talking military.

And you know it's just to bring up some -- right now there's more than 67000.

Homeless veterans and that's it from your thoughts on the.

Here's my thoughts.

We have the most powerful.

Skilled and trained military in the world yes and when we can take those and hear reports yes.

And when we can take those skills -- the military world and translate them into the business world into becoming entrepreneurs and business owners.

You can have and they can't have the most successful businesses in the world also mean they have what it takes to have that.

And you take all of this son in your book -- soldier mission financial freedom yes.

Thank you so much for coming on thank you for your service I know you don't like when people say that to -- but we do thank you.

-- for the clients when we evaluate the volatile educate an excuse your -- -- It's just on our screen when he asked them I think you so much for coming on -- in springtime in New York in -- Tennessee yes -- -- New York okay.
