And to me that makes him a pure ideologue the pragmatic way is to get the revenue so the government can function better not to not to insist on tax rate.

And Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell making the same thing abundantly clear we're right back where we started right.

And the president seems to act like he's been given a mandate that somehow he's been given this great victory importantly he did not use that word.

There is a co equal branch of government that we have -- in the United States and the congress is controlled by the House of Representatives the Republicans and the senate the Democrats.

The house was reelected on the pledge of a smaller government of keeping government spending in check and of course not raising taxes so.
If the president thinks that house Republicans are gonna roll over I think he's in for a little rude awakening.

We were stunned by the the announcement of the David Petraeus is resignation is CIA director.

And then he cites in his resignation letter not only an extramarital affair but he's quoting Teddy Roosevelt.

I I have great respect for David Petraeus I don't know the details of this thing he's served his country -- and effectively for very long time.
You sacrificed a great deal to go back demand and take the -- assignment after -- finished it.
I think it's a tragedy but there's also another story here I don't know what the story -- we'll find out very quickly that's story.
Because we learn very quickly the review will -- not be -- apparently.

Well look I think the fact that he's been under investigation which he disclosed today by the FBI.
It raises questions about other things he has said and done recently that we're kind of off key -- for example.
He -- he apparently gave a briefing to members of congress where he said.
That the video cause the you know who the -- hijacked.
Spontaneous protest and then it was it would lead to the shooting and killing and then -- and -- -- final -- and the timeframe for that was well after have been established.
That the video had nothing to write -- -- with one and half -- and so I think -- the idea that did him being a straight shooter was called into question there.
And so now you know that he was under investigation all the time and it perhaps did it just speculation but.
Was he in some -- feeling pressure to conform to the party line because he was under investigation -- -- you know crazier things have happened.
The timing of this the FBI has apparently have -- under.
The scrutiny will put it that way as a result of a separate and -- related investigation they were conducting.
But this looks like it was baked up and declared ready to day does -- not.
It doesn't in Washington you know the best data dump information you don't wanna Republicans on the Friday.
So we get a resignation by the CIA director on a Friday afternoon.
Citing an extramarital affair to me knowing that he's going up to congress or now not going -- to congress next Wednesday to testify about the -- Ghazi -- under -- This reeks to me of something -- something far more sinister at play here and I its.
They don't want to testify for one but number two of the administration going to be able -- now -- the American people for knowing the truth what happened and -- There is.
So much small swirling around this administration now that we have.

And the the leadership of this government.
It is really disturbing as.
It is and I I think what you gotta find is that the Republicans are gonna continue to pursue I think that the facts -- they don't feel any way shape or form intimidated.
By this president's reelection.
There's as is we both said it's a separate branch of government they're gonna do their task.
