Talk about something just a little bit different if you wanna understand what happened Tuesday why -- Barack Obama was reelected.
I've got -- -- I want to show you first the map of voters check this out.

And here's what's interesting.
The Republicans made the assumption incorrectly as it turns out the voters in states with high unemployment would kick the bums out that is.

That the same essentially and this is surprising because essentially the Republicans thought that people would -- as I said vote the -- that it didn't happen that way.
And the reason if you think about it obvious the federal government is paying the jobless.
Extending them unemployment benefits food stamps even underwriting disability payments from Social Security.
Think we're different from the Europeans think again the proportion of -- men in their thirties that are working is higher than the proportion of men in the US working.
And that's what this election was about people voted for free stuff free money free benefits a chicken and health care in every pot.
But it's not just the people who lost jobs in the recession who -- hooked on government money.
The total number of people getting government money is rising in fact most of what you suspect about entitlements.
May be -- If you think the proportion of people getting government benefits has been stable over time think again.
In 1983 less than 30% of -- got government help today it's 49%.
If you think Democrats alone are responsible for entitlement spending now.
In the last half century entitlement spending -- ground faster under Republican presidents and democratic ones.
And if you think transfers are small part of the government's budget.
Wrong wrong wrong take a look at this government transfers or less than a third of the budget today it's two thirds of federal spending.
That leaves just one dollar added everything -- and four out of three that is for other things like defense spending.
So here's where we are.

But not the way he expected.
Where the land of the free because an increasing number -- lesser -- a free ride.
