All right we'll just about ten minutes left of trading this resentment about eight until Election Day on Election Day had prepared -- -- under the new president elect.
Well John ERD is a Wall Street sectors like publisher he's here to help he joins us now on the fox -- is explosive from Portland Oregon you write -- this research that you did John thanks for being here.
You basically -- list of what sectors will perform well under each candidate if they went let's start with President Obama what sector picks do you have it the president is tonight reelected.
I think healthcare is got a -- -- -- surely look at obamacare being his signature event so.
-- yes in that area this fighter health care -- -- vanguard has a big land VHT.
You have the baby boomers are getting older more demand for health care along with more money and more people -- into the system so health -- I think was certainly be -- -- under president Obama's second term.
That you would you would you include -- the city health insurance companies and about tiger was well OK Elena gonna continue to -- are you also say.
That there are some alternative energy sectors that will do well under the president.
I got done that just because a lot of these companies or -- you for solar had a rough time why alternative energy into the president.
-- pres Obama wants to go after alternative energy is a way to get off middle Easter -- become energy independent.
So I think it is she pushed towards those kind of areas solar wind and clean energy.
And I think that's going to be.
Bigger field coming out particularly iShares has one hi Sheila and I cherish clean energy and wind at PW India's brochures that could be -- a good performance well.
OK -- but you wouldn't say the same thing about the solar sector cracked.
I think so within their solar -- clean energy OK you would include solar OK all right burn up.
Are right now what are things that you say is not gonna do well a sector that will not do well but has so while the share frankly is is big oil the big oil companies that you're going to be bearish on the and that the president does -- another four years.
I think -- you know he's they're pretty -- they want to go after fossil fuels regulation the cool area and big oil and tax breaks and so on.
So I think you're gonna see a push more towards an alternative energy field and though -- challenge for him of course and vision to see how that plays out.
You do what I US so I'd like just -- straight USO being nice it's -- -- showing our viewers that in his second of the safest way to planet and we are the middle of a crazy weather pattern right now is -- another bullish sentiment you're thinking out as well.
Yeah you just tell United States oil fund on the big -- also Brent oil BN though.
And then of course you look at natural gas I think there's a big future down the road for the United States natural gas.
OK now let's -- let's stay on this oil.
Were to win tonight would that be a positive.
For the oil companies he has talked a lot about keystone the keystone pipeline and his campaign speeches.
Sure sure I think governor Romney win tonight is a big win for big oil.
Keystone Pipeline as you mentioned more drilling -- equipment operations again searching for that energy independence from the Middle East.
And I don't have to be the defense sectors will -- have been -- play here I guess really for either candidate but I know that I governor Romney has said that he would boost.
Did defense spending that would help industrials and also the defense sector as well how do you play that.
Well absolutely I think god iShares IT is a good run for that this year -- -- defense and then the excise this fighters industrials.
He's made it very clear that defense spending as a key priority and that's I think -- we're gonna see that happening under -- president -- All right a lot of great ideas some message trade now -- -- ARD Wall Street sector select publisher John thank you very much interest.
