Today voting day voters cross country -- Headed to the polls to elect our nation's president we have team coverage in two of the most closely watched battleground states let's begin with actually western.
Virginia -- -- at the -- thirteen electoral votes up for grabs.
But the State's open senate seat is well in what's become the most expensive none presidential race -- high stakes in Virginia -- -- Yeah hey -- -- absolutely right by some estimates more than seventeen million dollars has been sunk into this race between a Democrat Tim -- and Republican.
George Allen both former Virginia governors both experienced politicians.
And really when you look at this race -- us as an opportunity for the Democrats of course who want to secure the majority in the senate but Republicans look at this as an opportunity.
To perhaps shift the balance the polls here in Virginia will close at 7 PM.
One of five states that close at 7 PM -- so will be an early -- sign of where.
The vote tallies are headed it's going to be very very close we're in a statistical dead heat.
Certainly on the presidential level but it's an extremely -- -- tight race here on the senate level also have to see how it plays out where here at the F.

-- those polls close and watch those results come in in Virginia which is really as you say thirteen electoral votes it's a battleground state.
It has traditionally been a GOP stronghold but not in 2008 Barack Obama winning this state so be very mentioning to see which candidate comes out on top.
Since we've -- miracles -- other channels to speak to a number of local business owners about there.
Outlook on the race and what they think -- needs to be done to get the idea a economic recovery really getting some not traction in this country.
