Well even when an unemployment rate of eleven point 8% and one of the highest foreclosure rates in the country Nevada is still considered a battleground state Adam Shapiro live in Las Vegas.

-- it does it benefit Mitt Romney or President Obama.

Well I think it depends on what people remember when they end up going to the polls and -- -- -- little the last four years in southern Nevada has been remarkably difficult and about as a whole.

And I think when people go to the ballot box they're gonna have that in -- -- I'm underwater on my house -- someone in my home has been unemployed for the better part of the past three years.

On the other side -- there's this this is feeling like maybe we've turned maybe not the corner but a corner has an economy and whether people bring that I think is something we're gonna to keep a close -- What -- the remarkable aspects of the economy here is that they now are on average have a record number of visitors you're telling me about this are they putting people back to work as we still see the highest unemployment rate in the nation right here.

You bet but the leisure and hospitality industry is sort of lead the way as we started to see some -- recovery yes we will and twenty -- twelve set the record for the most number of visitors ever coming to something about.
