You're -- but here's a picture of what you would normally associate a hurricane.
Looking wide and a storm surge in this area is really going to be a big story later today but it's already think it's fair to say become -- story earlier than many of us thought.
On the Jersey Shore -- today is Jeff Flock Fox Business been standing by in Point Pleasant beach -- looks like he's on the boardwalk right now Jeff.
I just wanna dory and she McConnell to where we are you know -- based on what we showed you before I -- on the -- what you've been a Point Pleasant you know the border watching you wonder why.
Perhaps perhaps they'll be billions of dollars in -- there's a lot all along the Jersey Shore that's been built.
And typically not subject to hurricanes this is surgeon -- -- which -- to come down here perhaps you know this extends pretty far out.
All under the -- -- this is characteristic of a lot of south Jersey a lot of things are built out along the beach.
And this is out to where we were before but -- -- a hostile that you could see.
This does is appear here you see all this may -- -- up I don't know -- able to see the board up we've got some.
Pillars -- the way there this is not that far from the edge of the water.
In good weather and now.
With what we've got here right now -- -- CNN as we get out here that maybe you could tell.
But you get around the corner.
You really get the -- coming -- again on the beach and again it's still covered from north to south us.
In this direction because of the rotation of the storm.
And because you've also got this other system coming in from the west and this is where there -- -- And I thank you yeah these waves -- as I said before these are not a way it's not that in category one storms -- you might.
Go surfing.
In the waves.
I don't think anybody wants to go surfing -- -- cut -- that you're seeing all right here right now hi this is not anywhere near.
Category one storm strength yet.
Itself that will.
Out later in the day.
Now at most this damages to be clear again what is there the Jersey Shore and other places most of this is going to be flooding from the storm surge right as I know the winds picking up and everything else I think -- -- -- you know we're gonna standout in this way -- even if it gets sick and the latest report is ninety mile an hour winds.
I mean I don't know if you've ever driven in a car ninety miles an hour but if you have you stick your head out the window.
It's blown pretty hard but it's not the end of the world.
And so I don't think we're gonna happen wind intensity.
That you might you know that there might be catastrophic damage.
But this -- bush and as water.
You're gonna have some I have all these structures -- -- -- along the beach.
Very some jeopardy.
That's very early to see this so -- quarter done in the morning on the East Coast Jeff Flock from the Jersey Shore thank you --
