The latest polls show Mitt Romney keeping momentum in the crucial swing state of Florida.
The latest numbers from -- -- and show governor Romney ahead 51 of 46 that's Florida.
And the latest real clear politics poll that's an average of five major polls also shows Romney leading in Florida this -- by 48 to 46.
Joining us now is form a Florida Republican senator George the -- -- are you prepared to call it right here and now Romney wins Florida.
-- -- call I think it's a little premature with two weeks left but it feels really good down here on the ground for the Romney campaign.
These debates really solidified.
A wind that the governor should have in this state.
And I feel good about it as long as -- The grassroots volunteers -- can get the vote out the next two weeks -- senator which group of -- swung to the governor in the last couple weeks.
I don't know if there was a group of undecideds like a lot of folks talk about -- which is the people came home there was a lack of I think confidence in some.
On the Republican -- independence that swing republic saying governor Romney.
You know barrage by television commercials and TD snippets it's hard to get the truth but the debates are clarifying moments and certainly the first debate.
Was a clarifying moment after that debate.
The atmosphere actually changed here in Florida and you could feel the momentum shifting -- growing for governor Romney I feel now.
The governor Romney will win Florida absent some major not change between now and Election Day I think it'll be two -- three point win -- under fifty to 48.
Absent a major change -- -- now hold on for a second what we've got this morning.
Is ahead -- in a couple of major newspapers that the president will go for go for a -- -- -- -- on the budget -- -- -- that would fix the fiscal -- presumably grand -- on the -- he wants to do that he says.
And he's also got this glossy twenty page plan -- control what is gonna now about a second that you there's there's a two items into promises that he's essentially making.
Could that make a difference could that be a swing against governor Romney in Florida.
I don't think so let me take the last 11 you know -- -- -- a bunch of ideas that -- talked about for the last four years.
And putting -- in a nice glossy brochure talent that -- got the the homework report the reports not so great that he tries -- put in the best package possible.
I don't think that changes anything in terms of a grand bargain the president was saying he wanted to -- bargain two years ago.
If you read the new account by Bob Woodward that went through that whole.
Struggle the president had a bargain in any try to -- trade up bargain with speaker Boehner and increase revenues by another 400 billion so.
What this president the problem is it is an -- security -- -- talking he's a great talker he's not a great doer.
And what he -- in the past four years as you can get things -- what he's gonna say now grand bargains new brochures it's not gonna make a difference in my view over the next few weeks.
To wrap it up do you think that's -- governor Romney won them all three of the presidential debates and do you think the poll Ryan one the big debate.
I think that governor Romney did I thought the second and third debates were closer and certainly if you were up about partisan -- the president you could find things that you liked.
But what governor Romney did in the first debate was a game changer it's structurally changed the debate.
It made him the person with a passion in the plan to fix this country and Barack Obama looking disinterested in being president.
The rest of the debates I think really for governor Romney showed that he has the capability the talent to be president.
That he can stand on the biggest stage he can be -- leader of the free world which gives people the confidence to make a decision.
Look you're firing the president United States even -- -- decide Americans Americans and middle that's a big decision I think they feel they have the confidence now that there's a better guy for the job.
-- twelve days before the election.
Former senator George removed from Florida says of Florida will go by one to two points to governor Romney object there is such -- thing -- videotapes and into a New York on it make -- -- Thanks very much indeed sought help because you're a guy will it's so much thank -- senate.
