It was a fourteen year old girl who drank 224.

Ounce -- in -- 24 hour period she died.

Now should these drinks have a warning label on them.

I want to make a couple points in -- thing the call for the -- number one.

There FDA doesn't have a lot of regulatory power against things that are not prescriptions so we can't just march in -- warning on the can -- can get involved with literally of the -- do that.

Number two this two to three times more caffeine in this particular beverage and in the can -- -- or coffee.

And people don't realize that and it's also loaded with sugar -- this particular young girl had an underlying heart disease.

The company saying we can't prove that the drink cause this but I have to tell you I think this much caffeine which is a stimulant plus the sugar.

People are out there without with underlying heart disease that don't know and you don't realize that -- -- -- -- here you don't realize that when you're drinking coffee I'm worried about this easy.

True of other energy drinks that they have a a big load of caffeine in them and sugar that.

Absolutely and there's also -- some energy drinks that have alcohol and and we've talked about help teens.

The late teens will drink energy drinks and alcohol together the caffeine.

Alcohol combination which is very popular among young adult is often deadly I think this is something that needs a lot of look.

Do you think that the energy -- sector currently not regulate to directly by the FDA should be regulated directly.

We're on the you don't notably what regulation -- but yes I think that the FDA should have some kind of regulations that allows them to look into this and to follow these companies and to regulate -- -- -- -- -- to be -- should they limit the amount of caffeine in a 24 ounce drink yes on I say yes you say you might say yes I think it's way too much caffeine and again.

It doesn't really come out to where kids can no they're getting this is rob -- -- -- I think nothing's perfect but it is -- publicity.

For the energy -- business is.

Can liners but if you just told you I think the company -- it in some trouble in Coke made that very well may not taken over now discussions.

Doctor always a pleasure thank goodness please don't.
