Good morning everyone is another big morning for earnings in just a little while ago we got them in from you yes the package delivery company reported a profit.
Of one dollar six cents a share matching the estimate while revenue came in.
At thirteen point 07 billion dollars just missing the expectation there for thirteen point three billion.
UPS says there's uncertainty around the magnitude of the holiday shopping season.
And it blames that for some of those results meanwhile United Technologies is reporting mixed results for the third quarter.
The diversified manufacturer says it made one dollar 37 cents a share on an adjusted basis easily beating the estimate.
But revenue of fifteen billion came in short of the forecast for fifteen point five billion.
United tech also cut its sales forecast for the year citing weak demand from airlines and and -- -- economy.
The company expects sales come in at the low end of its prior forecast to fifty to 59 million dollars.
But back its full year profit forecast a five dollar 25 cents to five dollars 35 cents a share.
Checking the markets now here in the US futures have been in the red across the board all morning we are seeing them that Lowe's now though Dow futures are down by 121.

In Europe earnings concerns are weighing on markets there as well also Moody's downgraded the ratings of five Spanish regions.
And confirmed ratings on five others were -- markets there in the red as well.
We're seeing London down by about 65 Paris is down 42 and Frankfurt's down 102.
Meanwhile President Obama and former governor Mitt Romney faced off last night over foreign policy in their third and final presidential debate Fox Business is rich -- in.
