-- from the debate site in Boca Raton Florida senior Romney campaign advisor former New Hampshire governor John Sununu also White House chief of staff.

-- president George H.

W.

Bush John good to see you.

Happy Monday -- happy Monday indeed and this is a night where the governor has to do very well indeed.

How much pressure -- use oppose he's feeling tonight.

Probably -- level the president obviously.

As the favorite he's he's the president he gets all -- Briefings of course he doesn't -- callers briefings but the president gets all the briefings.

And and so should now everything that's going on foreign policy around the world but I think governor Romney's.

Gonna do a good job demonstrating he understands these complicated issues and more importantly he has the courage to make the decisions.

And then be responsible for the decisions.

You know this foreign policy -- on been Ghazi.

Is is shifting from a foreign policy issue for President Obama to an issue of character.

It is pretty clear now that this White House is dissembling they're trying to throw the CIA under the bus they I'd I'd just honestly.

Suggesting reports that in my opinion just don't make sense the CIA -- -- -- let's examine that John let's examine them yes we've pointed out that the president's senior officials who are obviously driving this story.

Today as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Are saying that they were wrongly reported that they were only reporting what the CIA told them I.

That it was a demonstration.

And they did -- a terrorist attack yet that is directly.

Contradictory.

To what the president insisted for a number of days that he was said it was a terrorist attack.

That afternoon the day after in the rose -- But he didn't say that lucky you -- in Alabama but what I'm asking when is that kind of contradiction what will the governor bill with a tonight.

Well I will have to see how it comes up and when it comes up you know context of presentation.

Determines how you handle it so we'll watch tonight and see what he does but let's go to the substance here that the president got caught lying.

And playing the game -- Candy Crowley last time even Candy Crowley afterwards said governor Romney was right not the president.

You've got this station -- the CIA station chief.

Making his report the CIA doesn't generally contradict its own station chief.

Under conditions like that and so this stuff coming out of the White House actually used the word from Joseph Biden is a Malarkey.

-- -- -- That's along -- Irish word for what is usually summed up in somewhat shorter.

Actions but the fact of the matter is that these contradictions have been forthcoming the CIA.

Has been at least some of its members have been source of some certainly -- I have no idea of how much or.

All win but some of the information that has moved to the the national media.

-- what point does David Petraeus have to stand up in your judgment politically and say.

This is this is wrong defend his agency.

-- what point does governor Romney tonight perhaps address that very issue and at some point perhaps -- the intelligence community himself.

I think you may see that tonight I think David Petraeus as between a rock and a hard place.

It it really is difficult for -- agency chief like that.

-- contradict his president two weeks before an election.

But there's enough facts out there to contradict the president David doesn't have to do that look this is.

Somebody might have to figure out the insanity behind.

This incompetence coming out of the White House it does it make political sense.

It doesn't make national security sense it just defines in my opinion exactly why this president has -- -- He doesn't know how to make a decision he doesn't know how to stand up for the decision.

And his entire campaign and his entire four years is blame someone else for everything now he's blaming the CIA.

-- let me ask you this -- Are you I wanna get your reaction and that of the governor.

To a national media that has basically adopted it seems and I will say just most of the national liberal media.

-- saying you know let's just wait for that FBI investigation of intelligence of the State Department.

And see what happens that we can't rush to judgment quote and quote it's been six weeks.

What is what is the -- feeling what is your feel.

My personal feeling is that that's -- the liberal media saying my god I hope we can carry this president through the election.

It's terrible it's dishonestly.

But that's the way they operate nowadays.

I think he'll say what governor Romney's feeling is -- in the debate I'm not gonna try and undercut his presentation.

He's fit and ready then to to rumble.

He's fit and ready to show America that this is the man that can be president and this is the man that should be present.

Governor Sununu we thank you very much you're.
