We're doing it because were reaching out to veterans and we're trying to assist them as they come into the workforce.
-- I remember this when I first got out of the army after five years you weren't quite sure how to translate that.
We're helping them put -- resume together how to conduct an interview how to share.
With a prospective employer what your -- sending us.
Because remember were proud of our veterans.
They're hard workers they come to work every day they're they wanna be part of the team.
And -- so those are the kinds of things were working with the individual veterans.
In there were working where there are employers who are delighted to have veterans work forum.
If you've got a working on a state level governor about how do you apply that to the national level -- get all -- Getting veterans back to work.
Well we put together four minute video highlighting for people who didn't live in our state originally but decided they were coming to Nebraska.
Because they heard of the job opportunities in our state the call -- of -- the strong educational system.
Were were using that video -- distributed to the army navy air force Marines.
We're working with veterans organizations like The American Legion the BMW a locally and then -- -- -- on up the chain of command.
-- there were just trying to work with employers.
Family friends anyone whose generous and hire veteran.
We want -- to know that we have jobs in Nebraska even though we have a low unemployment rate.
We continue to create jobs in Nebraska from.
Technology -- transportation.
Education whatever may be.
-- Ng -- governor what are all overall you hoping to get out of this with your plan how many veterans are you trying to put back to work -- -- you expect you.
What's on what sort of timeframe.
Well it's an ongoing time frame this -- -- AM tomorrow we're gonna continue to do it to for the next couple of years.
I don't know there's a specific number I just war veterans to know.
In Nebraska we restrict respect you we have jobs.
Take a look at us we have all the called is a life -- most importantly you can take care of your family when you have a job.
