Neither one of us are from the alcohol industry we are actually to it to stay at home mom at the time.

And my friend Tracey makes a fantastic chocolate cocktail and a kicked it in her case and I which I tasted and that would -- fantastic.

And we had sort of a -- hah moment and decided to go into business together and bottling it.

And dad so we did at -- backgrounds and celebrity events in planning and my background is -- out of manufacturing and outsourcing.

And so we figured that -- you.

And talents combined would make a really great task force.

And that we decided that we are gonna go into business together and and bottom her creation.

And you have and I -- to try it later yeah I have absolutely yeah.

On the -- -- beautiful by the way here in Miami based around LA yeah.

What I think is a delicious tasting drink and I'm very jealous right now on the hour -- students here in New York.

And that's sorry I'm thankful that around on moment they all came together -- you guys have the right skills that matched well Wendy you actually start the company -- years ago.

Well I first tasted the drink in 2009.

And -- that was sort of when we decided we are gonna go into business together.

I'm not we start in small celebrity and that sell our first event that we actually -- even debuted the product that we are still mixing in the kitchen.

I would -- Adrian Melissa.

Party that she was posting the -- I -- Fraser foundation for breast cancer awareness.

Mom and dad so that was sort of our first little starter group we shared the drink we -- the cocktail in the kitchen.

And we found that it was -- hit.

There's just something really fabulous about chocolate milk that resonates with adults especially in this time when.

Life is just really.

This stressful and there's something I'm really comforting about club going -- going back to the basics something really hadn't.

Comforting about going back to a time when your mom Nixon chocolate not -- -- -- -- away all of your worry so we found that something about the brand just really resonated -- and I guess that's why it's called adult chocolate knock it.

It -- it taste like an adult version of chocolate milk -- vodka based.

I'm if you like a mud slide our white -- type of a cocktail.

This is all the work done for you in the -- -- over ice and enjoy.

Now on the -- where some bottling and manufacturing and concocting done.

Well -- milk comes or not state New York in the media and avid actually bottled in Michigan in temperance Michigan.

And that except for the -- made added the -- is a little bit different story because it is a 100% and got they.

In which means that have to be bottled -- a very specific region of police go Mexico.

And it it Adams fell a we have a 100% -- it's the only ready to drink -- -- made with -- I don't tequila.

And and then we just stack fresh -- got an actor it's just a really nice clean our take on a Margarita.

-- CE sounds really fed up pays I would I TD that you're manufacturing an outsourcing.

I Xperia is what.

Made all this happen it's complicated they UniCredit that you're just two people right -- you put gas supply chain together and then markets products.

How we get out only in.

We think the really successful I mean it took a year to get what was actually mixed in the kitchen.

See you what you taste in a bottle today we went through two different flavor companies.

I think that he was just not settling.

We it's it's -- that at some time to find just the right bland of the ingredients to really be something that you would it.

Drink more than one -- -- I think that was kind of our our margin it.

I'm if it isn't something that I would order several of that it isn't something that expecting when -- CA tend to buy.

And felt the what we really had kind of a high benchmark of what we would -- -- answer to this a year now I'm Andrea frustrating and brought up.

It was because we kind of felt like at some point -- did this really gonna happen you know I mean it can someone get it right can you really take.

Something that with mixed -- kitchen and reverse engineering it.

To be shelf stable from time to be non refrigerated things like that those are some really complicated factors that definitely add to complexity when you go to buy our product where did you get your initial investment from and where -- you get your money -- -- through all the all the stages.

And it it all started -- that's it was thought it started.

With Tracy and I and -- we took on a couple of investors along the way.

I'm because growth is.

Went with huge -- we and we went from four states to forty statements six month.

And that we are having to balance between marketing and manufacturing and do we do we -- do an event or do we make more product and and that was.

-- frustrating and but wonderful problem to have but you know funding is always at an issue for small business like people.

-- -- Yes we do we deal absolutely how many and that -- it's not -- -- staff of five and I now we partnered with.

With an and other group that brokers breath and add WJ -- I their fantastic group I know you've heard of yellow tail wind and said they've been a wonderful supporter of ours and really helped -- take our brand to the next level right okay.

You offering your employees' health benefits send the full package store how does -- work.

Yeah how we did have where we're now kind of a smaller scale -- because we have had that outsource that and every night and I'm Cindy sales -- felt.

But yes we absolutely offered full benefits we paid for everything ourselves and and keeping -- -- I'm happy with a huge thing for -- and also.

When they take a risk to come on board their leaving these stable jobs to come on board with that and it's definitely something that we wanted to offer.

For them and that you have some more -- coming out.

Correct me -- have we have about six in the works.

I'm so we're doing the marketing -- and trying to decide which going to be the next like to come out sell out and what we're always -- your feedback of what people's favorite flavors are yeah faces six are in the works and who is who gets to test them -- the lucky sampler.

Well I would have that we have led a team of marketing I'm folks that we work went 300 -- -- as a manipulation fell everybody gets filled -- deal last.

What's gonna be back to come out next.

And then we also take it got used small sample groups of people and consumers to it to see what -- the favorite thing and what we think will sell best in the market and really quickly where -- by the products.

I'm Leary and 46 states now I'm total wine -- -- -- partner -- -- that nationally and you can buy offering products there.

I'm safe playing a lot of major retail.

-- stars -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Oh you can't -- -- from -- online I'm but there are retailers that do I know high time wind carries it online and -- I'm and there are few leather.
