It is USA today Gallup poll it's got Mitt Romney ahead by four points in the swing states.

That is the polling backdrop to tonight's debate.

Joining us now from Cleveland Greg value actually Potomac research group why -- I say this is an absolute must win for the president tonight and I say.

The media will not let him lose what -- -- well I said in my commentary this morning that if Obama does tonight as he did in Denver he will lose the election that simple.

I agree with the -- I think the press likes a good story.

Mean obviously there's a tilt to the left except for you guys but I think the press likes a good story.

And I think after Denver the narrative shifted to the Romney surge I think after tonight the narrative will shift to the Obama's surge.

I think it -- shipped to them at a very at least two making a comeback.

He's back.

He's gay and is on I'm hobbled yankees -- was guaranteed that's what about -- I'm not -- guarantee that that's what I've read tomorrow morning but bounce back is surely in the comments okay I think so.

One other issue.

-- there is Hillary Clinton has taken responsibility for the security in -- -- she says okay it's my job provide security god my responsibility.

But -- left -- said.

Is who is to blame.

For the misleading of the American public on walk call -- the attack on whether it was an attack in the first place is that gonna come up tonight.

It -- and don't you think Stuart that and a couple years when there's a new book out like game change was a four years ago.

They will portray both of the clintons has furious.

They got thrown under the bus by Axelrod and Joseph Biden they really were thrown out of the under the bus and she's a good team player and she took the -- But somebody has misled the public -- -- Susan Rice is at her I don't think it's her.

I think that someone at the White House has to bear some responsibility.

OK last one for you yeah I think the president is gonna come out swinging tonight much more aggressive.

Oh absolutely I think it's it's gotta be not just stylistic.

It's gotta be substantive he's got to talk about the 47%.

He's got to talk about Romney's taxes he's got to talk about Romney's lack of specificity.

But that problem for Obama is this story.

Romney's good at this -- that I watched all twenty of the Republican debates even if Obama does well I would argue Romney will do pretty well.

-- well I'll bet that you and I are -- around 4 o'clock eastern time tomorrow morning going through the media to see what the reaction really is going to be.

-- -- -- Do you good if -- that's not a problem you can do that affect our Greg -- Arivalo thank you very much indeed right.
