Presidential debate round -- is tomorrow night and polls are showing a dead heat.

The real clear politics average has both candidates tied at 47 point 3%.

Marianne -- of democratic strategist and principal of the Dewey square group thanks for joining us.

We appreciate your being here and tell us something after Obama is a performance in the first debate he really can't afford to lose this one -- He can't he has -- really -- -- happen is -- tomorrow night and believe me I expect he'll do just that.

That -- a spokesman saying expect a more aggressive President Obama and yet his cool and his comment has been an asset in the past we kind of like that.

In command does he risks going too aggressive -- Joseph Biden.

I don't know -- Barack Obama is not Joseph Biden and -- can't say that -- tomorrow night.

But it's not a mutual exclusive exercise here's a President Obama has to do tomorrow night.

He has to hold Mitt Romney accountable for every position he's taken on every issue because Romney is done just that if Obama does that he wins the debate and he's probably on his way to re election.

Ultimately every election for president is about trust and if Obama can -- -- -- Biden.

What I'm -- of Obama can do to Romney what Biden did to Ryan.

And question him on a range of issues everything from Afghanistan abortion in the five trillion dollars tax -- stimulus the auto bailout.

And get -- -- -- contradict himself or take a position that is out of the mainstream out of step with voters they're not gonna trust Romney enough to vote for him -- the -- -- I believe the Obama campaign -- said the five trillion dollars.

-- Romney tax plan actually -- -- a trillion dollars but but fine thank you say that note that the -- about trust every president -- about trust.

Is it more important little -- -- makes us trust him.

Or that warm for the Obama in this debate makes us -- trust Romney.

-- you have to give both an Obama walks in with the advantage because he is better liked and that is one of the strategic advantages in 2008.

And he continues haven't money twelfth.

Voters if voters don't like you they're certainly not gonna trust you.

People still like Barack Obama a great deal so he's his own best messenger so he has to double down tomorrow night.

Point out where a Romney has contradicted himself and taken other issues.

And then turn around and say just like I promise to cut taxes on the middle class I did just like I promised and two wars I did I promise to get a lot it -- -- And that's why the next four years you can trust -- the finish putting everyone back to work but to finish these wars X sadder rather.

He also promised so many things that he didn't do we -- I don't wanna be under 6%.

Now what is Romney need to do to hammer home those broken promises.

Well and he will do just that and I think this is where Obama have to say you know what.

You can't do this alone I've tried to get the Republicans to cooperate rate cooperate with made they have not everything I could do on -- -- by executive orders I've done.

Now what but Obama has also been turned to Romney and say you know what.

You talk a great game -- you -- none of those things when you're as CEO at Bain and you did none of those things in your governed Massachusetts.

-- -- friends -- not gonna see world -- on the Sar is -- CEO Bain was to return the wealthy shareholders.

And he did that rather well but all right thank you so much getting to this -- anymore money but he can't make jobs.

Hello benefits -- job make jobs his job to make money when you plan.
