Jeff thank you so much -- plot while we're gonna talk more about retail sales here with our next guest who surprised by the numbers today says -- think.

I lack of Iraq and outside of -- when I'm going to be said he was surprised to come on here.
Well I -- -- chance of this changes your mind for the forecast to put out for the rest a year informed holidays everything else this one number actually it doesn't I was already more optimistic than most people about the back into the year.

Yes I'm worried about going over the fiscal cliff.
But if you look at the more moderate retailers the low and retailers I think they're gonna -- -- really really well.
You know we've got employment up a little bit maybe it's not great -- -- -- got credit card debt down at historic lows.
We don't have any problem with bad -- on the credit cards.
We're going to see people stand for Christmas at least in that moderate and lower segments of the chains which ones will be the shining stars -- think.
Well I'm I'm excited about Wal-Mart they -- -- actively get together yes even -- all these all time highs they are doing things like they did back when they were great.
They solve their stock out problems they put all those SK he's back in the store they take out.
They're doing a fabulous job.
I'm also excited about American Eagle because you know they've fixed all their problems the fashions great and deflation in apparel.
And so they're down about 10% sparse and -- present -- certainly now know what kind of shape is to.
-- retail in excise funnier we'll get excited when of the new iPhone comes out mistaken said that had a lot to do with the numbers last month but the rest of that top part of this.
The retail picture -- as a look.
Well the good news for apparel retailers -- other than the iPhone there is no technology sales.
So we're going to see transition this year I think into apparel compared -- we've seen in the past.
We'll probably still see pretty good accessories.
Sales things like that.
By -- not -- shot grant is found not in his socks for Christmas he really gets socks and -- jams are about yeah appreciate that what the other higher end retailers Nordstrom me like.
And Macy's.
Well I like Nordstrom to Macy's because they are best in class of what they do but I'm really worried about the upper -- because I am concerned consumers like you and I are going to go.
Oh my god my taxes are gonna be so high next you're that I should quit spending and that the country really is gonna -- over the fiscal cliff and if that's true.
That operating retailers gonna get pretty nervous somewhere anytime construction thank you so much -- -- and be well I think let's --
