It's on the heels the big debate last night how do you play this election from a markets perspective our next guest has stocks he says -- quote election proof.

All the Porsche is president of Gary Goldberg financial advisors and co portfolio manager the GMG defensive beta fund a quick your back here on September 12 you -- kind of neutral to bearish about what has your tone changed all -- Well no it's it's really the same so QE is definitely still influencing the markets and driving things higher -- but the Dow transports are breaking down indicate some trouble science investors wanna be careful what does that mean.

-- you wanna stay away from stocks -- are going to be heavily influenced by the global growth slowed down.

Stick with telephone stocks to stick with health care stocks and of the US home improvement stocks -- -- sectors we think you're gonna do well.

Okay we're looking at your age chart of the -- and obviously that some returned recently are trying not to lose out at this point in the year let's talk about some of the sectors were specifically to your -- -- in particular Telecom.

Let's first go there with Telecom our specific names in that group that you like.

Because of this FCC.

Fight with the -- -- in -- Duration -- -- exactly so but -- on things it's becoming more more popular we're seeing it with the iPad was -- -- with the iPhone and all the different wireless carriers is bandwidth.

So companies like Crown Castle International for example are going to be big winners and that regardless of which carrier does well.

So it's all about -- with the Obama administration is pushing the FCC fairly hard we think the Romney administration would as well by the way if he wins.

And so we look at that sectors being a big winner.

We do like the eighteen -- and horizons and we -- them both and -- separate accounts but we think the telephone towers to providers of that band with -- going to be big went.

Castle suck that up over the last year about 51 per -- so it it's and if it is election proof.

-- got to see that returns continue also a couple of the socks -- -- watching very carefully that is Home Depot and that is was in these are names that you also like -- as well yes you're betting on the consumer right.

Well we're betting on the consumer he saw some consumer confidence numbers come in this morning there were proof positive you look at the JPMorgan numbers.

And you saw that home and loans in terms of mortgages as well as home equity loans are growing again.

And that votes both pretty well for the home improvement sector and again we think that that's an area that as the economy continues to kind of -- along.

And very slowly improve -- moment.

Do you buy that stock is up 72% over the last year and then and then we have that same question mark about the homebuilders as well candy stocks continue.

The Ron.

That's the eternal question we think that there is room to go because they are growing their businesses the margins continue to grow the revenues continue to grow -- got strong market performance and market share.

And so we are still somewhat optimistic at this point.

Okay you also like you mentioned as already mentioned health care obviously the president -- -- obamacare stays but you can -- stocks that you're picking our election -- We think so so we're not talking about the big pharma companies were talking about some of the pharmacy -- so we're talking about UnitedHealth but we're also talking about express -- CVS Caremark.

-- -- companies are gonna benefit no matter what because as people employ more more drugs to live longer and do all the things that we do to be healthy.

Those companies are gonna benefit and these -- the leaders in that industry and so we see them gaining some more strikes.

Upset that stock is up or just -- percent of over the last year though certainly you're still kind of stick with that this government grown and we still think there's room -- and again these are long term thematic plays over the next six to twelve months so it's not a day trade.

It yeah.

Mitt Romney were to win that I would think would -- game changer for the defense industry -- lots of rhetoric -- her last night in the debate senator around defense cuts Afghanistan if you will also how do you.

So assuming you have -- divert the -- divided congress in Iran the administration -- -- White House we would think that Lockheed Marten.

Northrop Grumman would be big winners in that because -- too great defense contractors are gonna went.

Boeing also could be a good play their specially with what happened with the -- yes just a couple days ago.

Are you think basic even the even no matter what Boeing but that really got -- -- -- Romney Ryan -- got very -- -- the defense sector -- a little bit more cautious on a few bombs -- and wins again but -- from the -- and that would be an -- sector that we would have monies to the I -- loved the political -- all reported thank you very much appreciate it Oliver thanks for.
