She's here in a Fox Business exclusive to share what she sees as the playbook for success.
And I heard these numbers I didn't thinking in this economy you can't weeks for someone to created job for you any longer to go on find the job -- -- been out of work for awhile.
-- to take -- your own hands and start your business I -- that something that you and your has.
And dad yeah in and we're we're fortunate we we have we weren't out of work at all he's a physician and I'm a lawyer so.
We aren't pretty good living but I haven't you have time hate about is that like last time without the without got a got -- But you know we really saw that there was a niche here and it for us it's always about opportunities in creating opportunities are developing -- out of your ideas or your patches.
Because actually going to be most committed to sell that's one thing -- -- people when there's.
They're changing job situation down.
So I figured out what you like to do and then figure out how to develop it is still having identified this opportunity you said that there was a real need how did you figure that about what is it absolutely and I and I dismiss my husband initially and then how we -- they -- -- national -- apparently we commute between Atlanta and Miami and in Atlanta it was a rash of kicking in burglaries.
And -- and we have the security system the cameras and alarm system but those of reacting.
He -- a -- -- doors like this can.
-- -- -- -- And then he had a couple of patients with domestic violence easier and so he said no we need to do this until we -- the bar.
And -- -- execute our.
Which was designers so it look nice inside your house but it prevented people from kicking in.
And we it would had a unique locking mechanism and we got to patent on instead selling this year really yes yes you just under as a rational something going on your community you figured I'm gonna make a business around this but what it's something that you don't know anything about Kaczynski to identify and niche for your like.
I don't know anything about manufacturing marketing.
How do you figure all that totally yes if you don't know if you think about -- our technical expertise did not mean -- On the S not about doing some research I started talking to people I know about it.
Who are in who have different expertise marketing product manufacturing.
And those sorts of things and we just teamed up it's really about collaboration you know somebody who knows how to do something else that you're not.
And we -- talking to the bottom line is that you're taking big risk is at some point you had to put your money where your mouth -- -- make an investment.
And bet on yourself how do you get back her it's still the second piece of -- behind not to any spotting is calculated is taking I think you can that advocates that -- -- -- -- So -- as what that meant was we still have to keep our full time jobs and we put a little savings toward it and then siphon off some money.
Each and every month that we dedicate toward the business until it and then we set -- -- -- when the suits are making money for us and when it shouldn't and that sort of thing is how we grow.
So you're very blessed and lucky in that you had income in the meantime -- and -- a lot of what we're talking about here is that people who have bit who are units structurally unemployed whose jobs have disappeared may mean are becoming back -- right rather than waiting for -- job to appear they're trying to create something for themselves.
Well and in this in this is where those folks -- in the gap here because the folks that we work with that have helped us that we have a ton of money to dedicate to this.
Are those folks who are friends of ours who were laid off.
The the guy who works with us in in working on the wholesale peace is is a friend in sales.
Executive was laid off.
And now represents -- few different patsy represents arts as well.
And so each and every person we don't have any full time employees.
But we have these relationships with people where they work with us on -- part time basis here to kind of fill the gaps.
In figuring out what they need to do next or what -- they wanna do what they -- with the next and and then.
Moving on from you know.
