Let's get back -- the November election everybody wants to get back in the November election.

I know you do the latest Rasmussen tracking poll has President Obama Mitt Romney tied 48 each.

Scott Rasmussen from Rasmussen Reports is in New Jersey.

Well welcome back -- all of the very latest numbers released just today 4848.

Yes today it was Romney 49.

President Obama 48.

Is governor Romney losing a little of the bounce that he got from the debates.

A little bit there's certainly that a balance in consumer confidence since Friday's jobs report that's helping the president a little bit back.

The number of people -- -- we think the economy is getting worse has fallen by ten points following that jobs report so witness did jobs report is that factored into that number which we just gave him 14840.

Years that's it faster I yes it is yes it is so it had an impact and a it did have an impact but.

I'll talk about the larger picture this if we go back over the last 100 days of -- so you get rid of all the bounces all the different competing news stories.

These two men have been within two points of each other 72 days out of a hundred bigger within three points of each other.

-- nine days out of -- hundred this race is very close and we talk about momentum shifting.

It means primarily for one guide to a narrow lead for the other in four weeks ago.

Dead even wait too close to call vote nationally and in the important swing state in -- Experience of presidential elections in the past -- -- -- and I think so close for so long up.

Right immediately before the election.

You know this has been on usual -- when President Bush ran for reelection he was up by three.

Right after John Kerry wrapped up a nomination and he won by just under three points Barack Obama was up by five.

One he -- wrapped up a nomination he won by seven.

In this case we are seeing some shifting back and forth because the fundamentals suggest it's a very close race as of this moment you can call it -- At and there's no way to -- that the end in Ohio the president's up by a point in Florida Romney is up to in Colorado Iowa Virginia are all very very close.

Up the next jobs report.

Friday before the election.

Could have an impact the price governor Romney is making a foreign policy speech foreign policy has not been a big issue in the campaign but it could have an impact.

And there are more debates.

All right dead even that's so we have to -- -- today I think that you use -- really are on the right line of business tolerance seems to -- I think.
