And -- majority -- here's -- -- have the top of the stack the president debates are underway in round one is in the books.

So how did the candidates do well no better person to ask than the man who -- governor Romney in the Republican primary -- me now.

CEO of -- solutions and former presidential candidate Herman Cain and well I mean you you got up against this guy.

What's your reaction.

My reaction is it was a defining moment for governor Romney I expected him to come prepared we TD it.

To come with the -- which he did.

And -- show us that of himself.

That the mainstream media doesn't let come through in bad is this whole -- ability thing.

He was very confident very convincing and I thought he did an outstanding job I watched it by the way Tom.

With 250.

Arizona State University students and we -- the presidential.

Debate watching party.

And in discussed -- with them afterwards and that reaction was very similar to what.

You have heard or seen from some underwriters in terms of the fact that it was a clear and I asked -- shook hands.

It was a clear victory from that standpoint now they were college Republicans clear victory for governor Romney.

And now they saw a lot of the same weaknesses and President Obama.

Well you know you have to -- -- long career and business it's the wonderful for -- business and I couldn't help but think.

That this was.

The executive making the sale I mean how many times -- you've been in a conference room where you've seen.

The leader of a company get come in and and trying close the deal I just felt that was what was don't know.

That's exactly what was gone on I had exactly the same reaction.

Mitt Romney came across as a CEO and executive -- leader.

Pick command of the facts and the issues and on and on and for President Obama he came across as.

You know very.

Disengaged.

He came across not being well prepared and he did not make convincing arguments about anything -- -- He tried to get into facts what he -- to use numbers they were confusing.

So he didn't provide a real clear explanation of what it was he was trying to say so I agree with you -- came across as a leader who's close in the deal.

Well it and here's here's that.

The the best any part about you is you came out and and you were.

You know kind of crawling your way through the presidential campaign in and tell you hit that 999.

Phrase.

Why how did that take off that one statement by huge it's really put you on the -- moved into the top.

And it's the same time about that same time mr.

-- there was there was -- had come out with some fifty some point -- And it was so dramatic the difference between your 999 and his fifty some point plan.

Has he learned does he got -- -- -- -- points.

Yes he did and that you were call from that presidential debate it was that instance where we could ask even one of the other candidates requested.

And so I went -- the governor Romney.

About his that the -- point -- and I think pot irritated him because that's that governor Romney.

Can you name those fit the -- points that he -- league cup of Austria.

And -- -- but we we operating ends and I have talked to him since even since he got the nomination as an -- government.

You gotta you gotta cut this thing back.

You gotta have some memorable points and did you notice in the last did the debate earlier this week.

That he would delineate his top one -- -- plan.

Well he would delineate the things that he would do to go after spending so he did listen because people want gonna connect will.

That that the -- point plan and one of the reasons that man and connect with people they intuitively town.

CNN's fabric to everybody and -- -- to businesses and intuitively.

It's easy for people to understand.

Not that askew view you have but new radio show -- -- if you're taken over from my friend Neal Boortz.

-- that you're going to be full time radio guy back welcome back to the fold but.

Also in January -- -- there may be a new administration do you want to be involved.

Based upon what I know today know I would rather be in -- -- bother -- role if that's something that governor Romney wants me to didn't.

Because here's where I see an opportunity which is why I'm going back into radio.

And that is to continue to help people hear the truth about Lotta shows like -- you give a lot of factual information is a business show.

But people are hungry for the truth I'm out in -- right now as part of our -- tool.

Something that we called job creators solutions that Bernie Marcus and I.

Came up -- and because people know that -- -- seeing a lot of labs and a lot of disinformation.

Comment.

In some parts of the media as well that's come out out of this president demonstration.

And it's resonating with people.

And so that's wanted to reasons I'm looking forward to going back on -- radio and continuing to do guest appearances -- -- people on the -- the facts because this Thomas Jefferson's they had.

When people.

On the stand the facts they will make the right decision.

Yeah no way and then it's it's a great format radio talk shows are.

You've got Lawrence more long form you don't you're not limited to 32 answers you've got three hours they get out -- and and make your point the the president's words have power don't -- and the president couple days ago he was in in Las Vegas.

-- over Henderson Nevada and he was over at one of his campaign offices and he was on the phone talking to a supporter he said he he says it's a real drag.

It came through that way I mean it seemed like he was.

It was a drag to him to be there.

He did not want to prepare.

-- I've had to prepare for debates when I was a candidate it's hard work.

And secondly and someone made this point early yet.

Because.

He hasn't been challenged.

He didn't have the -- a -- self motivation to prepare.

The mainstream media -- challenges him.

When he's given a campaign speech he's speaking into a friendly.

You know audience that has.

Drunk the Kool Aid so he's never been challenged you -- he did have a motivation and he didn't think.

That Mitt Romney look come out as prepare.

As decisive and ads direct -- CD but I gotta tell you.

That conservatives.

And the Republican leaning -- that there were cheering.

To see this Mitt Romney and they hope that this is the -- Romney that shows up for the rest of this program -- that's.

That's it miss my last question is.

I presume he's going to be really ready next time.

He's gonna be more prepared but he is a thing.

-- -- policies.

Have failed Tom.

Is hard to did you can't defend him.

When -- policy is aren't working.

You have to try to plan the rights being in the right rhetoric this is what he was villain in the debate last week.

He was searching for the right rhetoric.

Because he wanted to re direct it from the fact that he had been nailed by governor Romney until one of my ex staff members -- said you know.

What I'm expected tonight is the governor Romney did get President Obama in a koala.

And keep him there and watch him squirm.

Because he -- not BP and the -- the results that his administration.

Has been.
