Talk about this race forever you'd say boy everybody must be sure what they're gonna -- -- almost everybody but what do you make of it ahead of Wednesday night's debate.

Well most polls have are you certain and then also -- leading so this doesn't have one of those categories -- You know these this is kind of like a scavenger hunt for good polling news.

It's entertaining but -- that doesn't matter very much what really matters is what -- the polls show.

So you know it this is a close race I think President Obama is leading in the key swing states.

And that this debate is going to be very -- to Dubai a lot of Americans are so I think both candidates are going into this thinking they really have to do well -- senator Dorgan is right.

Granted within the margin of -- but in some of them but -- -- all nine of what they consider to be swing states we've had this conservative argument over the last week or so that some of the polls.

You know I don't think they purposely skewed I think there's a possibility that they are because.

The one thing that you never know.

And the pollster is always trying to guess is who's going to vote right and you can doubt you can draw a sample and if you're sample includes people who.

Have an opinion but don't vote by then it ends up and they say well pollster did it -- I don't think.

Anybody's doing anything deliberate but I do think.

Of the one number that would should concern the Obama forces.

Is the fact that it's he is -- Rasmussen is correct.

I was well behind my opponent who was at 48%.

Right in the last ten days and I said look after all the money he spent if he's only -- 48%.

That means 52% of people want somebody else happened and it turned out -- -- Taiwan.

He's 48 in the Rasmussen poll overall it up to and I believe is over fifty in the Gallup tracking poll but what are you gonna say is a follow up to -- -- -- just gonna say I think Mitt Romney's had a pretty rough a few weeks here and I think it's pretty clear.

In the direction of the president in Ohio and Florida Pennsylvania and so on Iowa so.

I -- this is not this race is not over I don't think the president's campaign would believe it's over either.

But I think that this is -- been a pretty tough few weeks where the Romney campaign they've made a fair number of mistakes and at this point you'd have to believe that this president's doing quite well.

You know I don't know the foggiest idea but Democrats are -- the headline is Obama wins debate.

You know it's gonna be a really interesting debate and -- there -- it's important for the American people to see both candidates side by side.
