Tom while we're not a situation where we have a large military presence nearby -- when we found out there was a career fair focusing on veterans put on by the US chamber of commerce and congress was -- office we make sure we were there.
-- just from experience I know that veterans tend to do very well on our -- so.
Usually is just a matter of letting them know all the different opportunities that are out there are so giving us a chance to get -- -- -- interviewing process.
You know I know you remind folks and all that that given the discipline and organization of of a veterans in general that that they are of interest -- to employers because -- for wanting to very loyal for another date.
They work they're they're -- he's off on is that message getting through.
I think that it is I think in our career -- specially.
Having daily disciplines that they develop in the military serve them very well on the financial services field.
Also they have a sense of service they join the military generally to protect the country so they serve the nation.
Men now in our field they really serve their communities either one family or one business -- a time.
But we find that.
Just that that reliability.
That daily discipline that that willingness to serve others always serves us which serves them really well on our career in.
And -- our policy owners well to have -- part of our field force why is there unemployment rate no higher than the national average which is already -- to begin.
Obama -- I think that's a factor of just getting them in front of different employers and taking the steps to make sure that they know the opportunities that are available on the employers that are out there are able to get face to face with them.
When I got out of the navy the navy was good about -- putting me through a transition class.
Back sixteen years ago and one of the people that came to talk was a recruiter from Northwestern Mutual that's how I was introduced to the company was more of a chance in -- So I never would have thought about a career in the field but obviously sixteen years later is a good -- So I think just more interaction and making sure that they know what's available and that employers know that they're out there and they work really hard.
