Crown castle cell tower company will have exclusive rights to lease and operate the towers for about 28 years.
Crown will then have the option to buy them for an additional 2.4 billion dollars the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
US Postal Service says it will default on a five point six billion dollar payment on Sunday.
It will be the second time in as many months that the agencies failed to fund health care costs for future retirees.
