He's tall order in this quarter to quarter mentality is that don't allow the kind of research.
Date that creates two innovation in our society.
And the fact is there are things that universities can do that the private sector can't afford to do.
-- -- What have we got from all these billions of dollars -- so universities you know.
Given them on the Internet I half I've heard of that event that the original browsers and -- university -- okay and much have.
Microchips that power our our computers were invented -- okay.
So -- LS and those OK so here we have a Nobel Prize winner and his invention was the lab -- a really.
88 -- that was consistent.
And this guy spent like thirty years to get exactly the right rats -- all these Weezer -- no company is gonna invent invest.
Thirty years to get exactly the right -- so that all -- the scientists can do.
Kind of research they need with months so there are there is a role.
Now we -- lousy and commercialization.
We know that bringing it to consumers really are making it -- that only exactly.
And we need help and -- one of -- our views as we need to get more entrepreneurs on did this on two campuses to help.
And the schools that do that I can have a much higher impact.
And frankly -- students.
Who play a huge role in getting that done.
And let me -- -- part two of -- scam accusation.
I did -- -- other -- -- so far so good yeah.
The sixty biggest research universities have endowments totaling 250 billion down that's a lot of money.
I won't give money to my alma mater they have seventy billion in balances than I wanna call development -- -- -- stop calling.
That they know.

Tuition goes up and all over the past 25 years.
Inflation's been a 100%.
Health care costs were all upset about that 220%.
College tuition more than 300%.

Dollars that's a market for in state.
For in state students.
But the taxpayers fork over sixteen -- per student.
What do you get to get all these kids with big -- and a lot of them can't find jobs.
In general I agree with.
I think that it -- part of the issue though is.
What is success you don't measured on.
Income how much income you -- like that I don't think that's measured levels not about the job and yet the more prestigious university.
The least well we do.
On helping people to get that first job now some of it is just the degree frankly -- Personally I'm really into -- -- -- bartenders.
Of college degrees taxi drivers also 15% a lot of people yeah go to schools like this goal of the debt.
Can't find that job in new year in French literature English -- -- -- -- so it's true prize so what I'm saying is we need to do better.
I don't think it's bad to study French literature budgets that.
Psychology they can help you get attacked.
Now -- But you could help able yeah was it worth -- -- tuition and room.
So I'm black suited for college all of this intellectual -- learn how to play poker Ireland out of -- I was just -- by I didn't have to pay all that.
The I think that it is not an -- to -- How much money you make it's not an indices and much of it I think -- learn character Willer well I think you've learned you know in some cases hopefully you do and I think.
As -- -- -- a liberal education the most important thing we can do is to cause people think about things and learn have to think just like you.
Are doing on your show every every week which is to get people think about things may -- in ways they hadn't thought about before I think that's a noble thing to do.
But my -- sold.
-- -- -- -- show history or cable subscription is the cost right right.
