Can see here let's bring in Scott Sutherland from web bush.
Securities Scott SF first of all the question of whether this Blackberry and is going to be a game changer we've seen we've seen the numbers now if they have a successful blackbirds and launch.
But that big game changer for the company.
Why I think for some like -- -- I think there's somewhat of a relief that it's not been delayed any further after multiple delays out there.
But as a similar device I think the Q and -- operating system is pretty solid I think it's gonna be a -- get Smart thrown out there in the -- competitive.
Notice this in the holiday season.
That said you know -- -- and they're missing the device ecosystem I think that makes apple.
And -- and even the windows ecosystems more competitive -- blackberries ecosystem and I think that's for their missing out on.
Now when you say -- and we -- of what all the jargon here what we're talking about basically is all the supportive structure are rounded device.
I mean used to be that the device was the center of the attention right now it's the supportive system the apps and all of the deals that they have.
With the carriers and everything that is just as important if not more so right.
It's in a more and that I think everything is -- towards a cloud so.
For example Apple's iCloud sits in the middle and connects multiple devices from.
Tablets.
To PCs and TVs too Smartphones.
-- cloud strategy is still developing.
Their success in different devices outside the Smartphone has been very lackluster and I think that's when I look at the ecosystem approach.
Now the one thing that kind of surprises me about apple on air a lot of things right about apple but that they haven't specifically.
Targeted that Blackberry crowd they're still looking for the general consumer.
Rather than the business consumer and and kind of leaving some territory there for four Blackberry and rim -- -- great.
Obama I think from a technology standpoint apple has and then -- Hasn't been going back hard after the and a price covered every conference call they talk about how many fortune 500 companies are using or traveling their tablets and Smartphones.
How the government education markets are targeting them so they are very focused on that.
We do see Microsoft and windows target market much more and leaving the fight in the consumer market -- the am android and -- right.
Well here's here's -- sense that I get that bad apple being the Smart guys that they are just sitting back and say look rim is destroying itself.
For what they're doing well just let will just sit back.
And let them lose their market share over time and eventually jump -- were too busy fighting -- Google right now to worry about.
-- I think there's an agreement to that I mean obviously the fight is first and foremost with Google.
I think apple has to be little smarter here you know my -- Microsoft is gaining traction or could gain traction -- -- expense that they that Microsoft gets much traction then.
Yeah might be today's vote of Microsoft and apple going head had once again.
Okay hold on Scott and and I wanna go back to Larry for -- I haven't heard from him about the rim earnings what do you think.
No I -- have to negatives being a positive and I saw all day long a lot of bearish option plays in Graham.
Especially October 67 plus that the -- buying the Saddam but selling -- six but.
Hoping for a 5% -- correction in the stock.
Secondly I keep seeing -- being very very negative although I don't give much weight and analysts and off when there on negative makes you think like at seven dollars how much worse can it get.
And frankly I like Blackberry I have once I think maybe despise dilemma I think we all still have -- by most businesses still use -- the navy they also have an iPhone everybody hasn't.
Several phones now.
-- Scott thank you very much for that breaking analysis we appreciate.
