Difficult here's the story we're following today average American income down more than 8% since President Obama took office there -- twelve million more people getting food stamps compared to when he took office.

President Obama however is ahead.

In mainstream -- -- -- we have from the Potomac.

Research group.

In DC I know he's got -- book on his face now now yes you have you do you do.

Good morning I don't believe these polls -- -- I don't believe I know that's irrational on my pox but I don't believe them go.

Well I have news for -- Stewart I don't either I don't believe the New York Times this morning showing that Obama is ahead by nine in Florida I just don't believe that.

I don't believe the polls showing Obama ahead by ten in Ohio he's ahead in both states but certainly not by those kinds of numbers.

I'm inclined to look internally at these polls on who exactly is being polled we were told what Karl Rove and on known -- yesterday.

That if you look at those in tunnels that actually polling more Democrats than Republicans and they make the assumption.

That the voting -- will be the same this year as they weren't 2000 night and that's a false assumption market.

Well there are a lot of really legitimate issues Stewart how many people do you -- who were on land lies or cell -- How many African Americans do you put in your sample and especially.

How many self identified Democrats -- opposed to Republicans the poll takers just about all of them will tell you.

That they go on what people identify themselves as more people right now are saying that they're Democrats.

But I took a look at the real clear politics average that's got Obama up by three point 8 I think this morning.

-- Rasmussen does a very good job and even Rasmussen Stewart on Tuesday or Monday.

Had Obama winning by twelve in Michigan so that the polls -- broken you can't deny that all the polls in the last week in the battleground states.

Have broken in one direction.

I guess I'm in denial I guess I am all right now hold on a second -- now what it -- can you explain something to me.

In a poll in Ohio.

When asked the question about who's the best -- of on economic policy.

It was 48.

To 39.

For President Obama.

At a time when the economy is really really not doing well apple can you explained -- to me.

-- two things number one the unemployment rate in Ohio it's come down by quite a bit as the Republican governor John case it will tell you.

And the economy there has turned around that's number one.

Number two I think you just gotta say that.

Romney is not resonating -- middle class voters.

You know they either don't like his business background they just don't like his policies for whatever reason they're not thrilled -- Obama would be ridiculous to say that.

But I think that middle class just doesn't like Mitt Romney what would you advise Mitt Romney to do in the debates one week from now.

-- not be super super aggressive but be.

This passionate and explain in great detail why his prescription would help the economy.

I think most people don't get -- yet they don't understand the Romney prescription he still last time.

I want to emphasize this race is not over yet.

He's got plenty of money we've got two more unemployment reports to come there's three more presidential debates he still has time but he has to explain clearly.

Why his plan is better.

I've got one more thing on a wish you could explain it -- run again in honor of a poll in Ohio a quinnipiac poll out this morning.

It gives President Obama a 25.

Point lead amongst women and explain it.

Well you know on.

A lot of social issues.

I don't think Ryan helped me -- Ryan and Todd Aiken I think his name is in Missouri.

Supported abortion legislation is produced pretty harsh and -- would gender gap actually widen.

After Ryan was put on the ticket that may be part of it but that's a huge gap that's another one of these Paul Stuart that like the Florida poll I just don't quite believe the numbers.

Yep I'm with -- Actually agree I actual we're gonna have a violent disagreement Greg about Kevin no I don't think they'll figure that I don't get it.

-- -- always a pleasure I'm sure we'll aren't many times in the next what is it 4143.

Days is that what is it looking looking forward to it okay government seal.
