Well joining as right now from Cincinnati.

Is conservative talk show host Brian Thomas Bryant we were talking about this for the show meeting this morning.

Can you turn on a TV in Ohio without seeing a political act you must be -- bombarded right now.

But no you cannot turn -- delusional Lansing political at a nor can you listen to the radio without hearing a political and I of course have been going through my head so all morning my program so.

It does tend to where one out and I think it does and after a short period of time because everybody's eyes this sort of play vote glaze over and give the today have heard -- before and and move -- that you know.

We've had we've we've -- the latest polls this morning.

And in Ohio.

The president has a two point lead in a Gallup poll which is a poll of likely voters that is within the margin of -- -- was in Ohio -- likely voters is pretty much a dead heat at this point.

And that's something I can't understand.

Because the president is attacking.

Was what seems like eight how awful line.

Look at this rich guy he doesn't care about you -- doesn't care about the 47 cent he cares about him and his money in a low tax rate.

I would've thought that was a successful.

And dynamic line of attack but apparently not.

Well this is the dialogue -- having now our nation has now become.

It to the point where it is -- to decide to pursue as it has historically and very successfully.

A capitalist pro business pro hard work ethic mentality.

Or drift over into the Malays and an entitlement state which we can watch around us falling apart miserably -- -- it's it's failing as we speak.

In Greece and in Europe.

Why we would go down that road -- is heard your story about California that it's it's absolutely crazy.

That that does not resonate better with the voters and isn't reflected in the polls.

-- is is perplexing to me as it is to you sir I I just and -- asked out while my callers let me know why is this.

The only answer in the state of Ohio I think in May be is because we're still reeling from that whole issue to senate bill five repeal -- that had a lot of people ginned up.

And it was overwhelmingly defeated by the voters so there's that lingering union money out there well you listened to.

It called people calling to your radio shows and Europe conservative so you probably hear a -- from the right as opposed to the left.

I'd absolutely they thought this is purely anecdotal.

I'm here that the right is fired -- there is enormous enthusiasm -- that changing the guy at the top.

Whereas a vote on the left.

Is far more defensive and there's a lot less enthusiasm about anecdote LaMont -- what do you say.

I absolutely.

That's why am smiling an agreement I I even was kind of thinking about what you might -- -- -- please you brought that up.

That the base on the conservative side and up -- -- I am a libertarian of -- philosophy but.

Neither here to there it is.

Energized beyond anything I've ever witnessed tonight I mean politically go back to the the the first Reagan election is certainly the second when I was in college but.

I've never seen anything like this people are attending rallies and and going to.

Education seminars on how the impact politics I mean if people getting up off the couch for the first time in many of them tell me this so I am.

It's easy to answer a phone call poll.

It's easy to pick up -- phone and participate that way but will they get the voters out the way they did in 2008 on the Democrat side.

I don't see the enthusiasm on the Democrats -- but it certainly there on the Republican Brian it always interesting to hear from someone is who is in Ohio at this moment -- and they'll lose with political ads from both sides you're right in the middle.

Ron Thomas thanks very much indeed we'll see again soon pleasure bill.
