Nearly half of all Americans will be obese in the medical cost of treating obesity will skyrocket.
Fox News health dot com managing editor doctor Manny Alvarez -- joining us with more and his medical dollars -- doctor.
This is a pretty frightening numbers it is frightening because well we're talking about we're not talking about -- and I don't plan to be around 2030.
And that's eighteen years from now.

Years old which is this other statistic that we've been talking about all week in functions held.
Because right now 13 -- teenagers are overweight.
13 of our teenagers are pre diabetic.
13 of -- teenage years are consuming a lot of salt.
So when you look at the statistics projecting out eighteen years from now -- you gonna have about thirteen states.
Places like Mississippi right now or other places but thirteen states -- -- gonna have obesity rates over 60%.
And another 66 SK is obese the population of the State's 60% of and everybody's going to be fat.
And another 39 states are going to have.
The rates of over 50% including New York including New Jersey.
Including a lot of places that you would that right now are harboring between 25 and 30%.
But again the message is not about me I'm done I'm -- But you know that said.
Yeah it's about the twelve the thirteen to fourteen to fifteen to sixty.
And that is why this the statistics it's very relevant to parents.
It's very relevant to politicians.
Is very relevant to schools.
And the -- -- -- straight.
This is not health care costs listen we gonna go from about forty billion right now that we're spending let's say.
To get paid -- the treatment of diabetes and high blood pressure on the control.
You gonna vote at least 264 billion dollars by 2013 which is eighteen years from now right right.
So we got eighteen years to fix it it's -- broken yet.
