Listen to this one group of people hit particularly hard by the job's recession.

Are returning veterans but there is hope with the help of web sites like hero to hired.

And US veterans pipeline -- mention mission that is matching those with military training to civilian jobs that are right for them.

With more on this is Jeff Cramer founder and CEO -- thank.

Which helped launch these sites -- it's great to have you here tell us -- created these web sites.

Well actually we saw -- there was.

A gap.

In essence what we realize was that.

You have all these resources on one side you have all these great opportunities.

-- there just wasn't away connecting the dots so.

What we look at is how do you connect the opportunities in the space right now between.

All the openings.

-- -- for 12 because I think it's important to realize.

-- There are lots of jobs out there.

Our vets are coming back our reservists are coming back.

And they hear that there aren't any jobs out there so right now our systems tracking three point six million job openings -- -- Jerry.

That's and we may point six even so there are million math does it we have it is an eight point 9% unemployment rate though with bats.

Why is that I mean if you know it's much worse than the broad population you say there -- jobs out there what is it about veterans that they're not getting these jobs.

The disconnect is a lot of business is just simply can't translate the military skills.

To the opportunities that they have so what we've done over the last several years -- a lot of time a lot of money is actually build a natural talent exchange.

We realize that there wasn't something to actually connect the raw talent with the education the credentials in the jobs.

And translate the military skills.

So those were the two biggest -- is that we had to put together leveraging technology.

But then it comes down any actual employers.

Being able to -- to skills.

And -- -- transition personnel -- the reservists so I think it's really important for employers to realize it.

We have almost a million reservists in this country between the national -- -- reservists who are.

One of the biggest pools of talent in the United States.

Well -- and you say talent they have skills.

You know a lot of employers -- we interview on the show they say Jerry I just can't find somebody that's the right set of skills for what I need but these people actually have training.

Phenomenal training.

Your debt on we have.

101000 people a -- turning 65.

So -- gaps that are coming into the American workforce.

Are -- quite well with our military trained talent they've got the leadership skills -- technical skills.

And it was just an issue of really treating a common language between our military and -- private sector companies can you give us some success story.

Absolutely.

We've been testing our technology -- bases around the country right now and turning it on to help.

Local businesses.

Connect with a talent we've seen about a ten times the results -- a standard job fair by making these connections.

We're leveraging technology for virtual interviewing we -- soldiers coming out of Fort Bragg just the other day that we were connected to it connecting virtually.

To an employer -- thousand miles away.

So.

These opportunities are helping us.

Transition these individuals months and months before they exit they connected to employers who are desperate for talent.

Just for for talent here -- to hired that's the website.

Great.

Effort here I mean it's really a problem that needs to be solved.

Jeff thanks for them so much for coming on tonight telling us about it I'm sure that a lot of people be logging on right now thank you.
