The big story continues to be the violence in the Middle East the latest violence popping up in -- Yemen.

The US -- -- attacks US flag -- security forces say they have control over the compound now.

And protest outside the embassy in Cairo they continue for the third straight day our embassy in -- this year.

Also sold by protest.

We're learning that the attacks in Libya well planned that.

To come on September the eleventh not because of a -- a mocking Islamist the president seems to believe.

Since our founding -- the United States donation to respects all faiths.

We reject.

All efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.

But there is -- -- no justification to this type of senseless violence.

Not.

The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.

All right joining us now is Rudy -- he's the -- all of a battle for the soul of Islam and American Islamic forum for democracy is the president of battlegrounds -- Doctors -- -- welcome back to the program -- Great abused or -- -- -- endlessly told that these events in the Middle East off produced by just a small group of radicals.

But what we look at the videotape it doesn't seem like that it seems like there is wide spread dislike and hatred.

For the United States of America across a broad swath of the Middle East population.

Give us the true story.

Well -- I think -- you know you're certainly right in that when you have an approach from our president -- a country like ours that's supposed to be a beacon of freedom.

That has this apology tour that began in Cairo in 2009.

And now you see our embassy had some appeasement tweets and now the president even.

-- -- Enola I think recognizes more than they should this film.

It basically is a virus that makes it seem that America is a -- you're gonna see a viral spread of this sense that.

America's a push over sent out a strong force of the islamists whether it be the brotherhood in Egypt.

Whether radical -- this and Libya.

Can continue to push forward.

But I want to keep their perspective Stewart because the people on the streets in Libya were only a few thousand this was not.

That the millions that we saw in Cairo or the hundreds of thousands that brought to the streets and Libyan turned over Qaddafi.

This is just a few thousand and remember the Middle East the old horses the old.

Bosses.

I had rent a mobs and there's no there's a lot of proof that this was part of the Qaddafi loyalists that wanted to get back in America.

Kill our ambassador make us pay a price so we want to put this in perspective unfortunately.

The leadership we have in Washington are not pushing back with the strength that we.

Should be so that's what you want you all right practicing Muslim -- American citizen you served in the American navy.

And you want a much more forceful push back from -- leadership perhaps a more vigorous defense of what we stand for in America.

That's what you walked correct.

Absolutely -- I mean if you look why -- -- tomatoes thrown at secretary Clinton's car a few months of going Egypt it's because they saw the new boss is no different than the old boss in Cairo or even in Libya because they've not been defending we've not been standing up for freedom and liberty that people on the ground are saying -- paper tiger we just -- I put our finger up in the -- -- -- Linda let me ask you this -- -- this before on this program should we now bearing in mind the events of the last 23 days should we now be sending more money to Egypt specifically Egypt.

We should not be sending to the government which -- -- strict strings to wouldn't take it away from.

I mean the president on telemundo just yesterday couldn't even make it clear whether they were an ally or not.

We should see our allies are on the streets they are bid the the labor -- -- the free market thinkers the liberal -- the moderates but not the islamists.

Not the old guard of the -- the secular fascism -- -- but it really pull out completely we should not stop investing apple currently we're investing Stewart in the back.

-- be very difficult thing to do.

I mean.

-- goes government to government it doesn't go government to small private enterprise it doesn't -- that way.

So what you're really saying it is.

These large aid packages are -- to -- of I believe a billion dollars worth of aid is now being readied in a package you would say stop that.

Don't pay its.

Pay the money in a different -- but that's a very difficult thing to do.

-- should be on the ground should -- And elsewhere and we can do the same.

In the long game there's not going to be a light that turns on in the Middle East and changes the old way of riots and illiteracy.

And -- socialism etc.

That's gonna need a generation we can either be in the game and help the week courses or we can -- to let them radicalized like we're seeing in Syria.

Egypt and now Libya doctors and digests a frequent guest on this program we hope -- come -- --
