-- at Cantor Fitzgerald was devastated by the attacks of 9/11 losing most of its workforce but it honors those.

Who were lost every year on this date with a charity event where employees and celebrities make trades.

To raise money for organizations around the world to date the company has raised over 77 million dollars.

And Sanderson is on the trading floor.

Now with a very special guest Sandra.

And my son got mayor Rudy Giuliani joining us live right now on the trading floor -- Cantor Fitzgerald it's.

Who lost 658.

Of its workers that -- -- this is one of many stories that came out of the -- that you lead this city throughout what does this like Korea.

Because as one of the worst losses that any any yet grouping counted on September 11 and the ability of -- -- -- come back in.

Build an even stronger business.

Just indicative of the resiliency of the of the American people more people at the home and had not -- to want them before September 11 did you sense of the terrorist.

At least -- that objective kind of failed which is to break our spirit Cantor Fitzgerald demonstrates that.

The tunnels a -- of a foundation demonstrates that by raising money.

Now raising money for a wounded warriors this.

This tunnel to towers foundation dedicated to a firefighter Stephen -- who gave his life on September 11 running into the fire.

And Stanley got together established -- foundation and now they raise money to build homes.

For our for a warriors who are seriously -- And you're raising some serious money for them I -- take any -- rate -- seven ally and how did that go it went really well what really I think -- -- still a lot of money but it does not just -- so many people who have come here today.

To do that.

And in both instances in which can't get a FitzGerald and and and that some of the tower they've taken tremendous loss and turned it into.

Something wonderful for the people which is great mayor where do you think that we stand today eleven years after this disaster.

Many respects safer we've thwarted forty attacks or more since September 11 which should give us -- to recognize this war against us is still going on.

On the other hand there -- areas in which I really worry I worry about Iran -- we're about Iran becoming nuclear.

I worry about -- handing off a nuclear material to the terrorists they're presently arming they're the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world state sponsored terrorism in the world.

And I wonder if we're we're doing the right things with a -- and it seems to me like that simply ignore us and just move ahead.

To become a nuclear power.

And there I think you've probably seen what I think since I've been on the -- empire really gives you a sense of that unity that we stand after 9/11 you get that sense stuff that I get reminds of the days after September 11 where we were truly.

Actually united and the enthusiasm that these men and women in the finance industry have to helping our -- -- -- sense that.

A lot of the few minutes it demonization of the finance and you just garbage and these are really wonderful people they work -- they love America.

They're very grateful to the men and women were putting their lives -- risk to save us.

This is what typifies the finance community in New York tonight that I knew and I still know.

And this is the one day.

Of many that probably should happen but we should -- parties.

Aside and this as a day we should all come together but of course you know attack on us on September 11 of them attack on -- political part of an attack on America.

People who responded -- Republicans Democrats liberals conservatives -- everyone.

Everyone lost someone.

And -- -- this is something that always has united us and hope it continues to.

I know mayor Giuliani has to get back to trading said Lana see him -- -- -- got money to -- is an excellent -- thank you so much for joining us any last words I mean there.

No but did just remember -- wounded warriors and and that's what tunnel to towers foundation is about and I remember we owe them this isn't.

This isn't charity -- -- this and yet we have an obligation.

Absolutely we're gonna have some of those wounded warriors actually on with us in just a few minutes in this hours a staging from that -- also have -- CEO Howard -- on with us mayor Giuliani thank you so much for joining avenue that thank you and thank you for everything that you did.
