I understand but I would also -- by presume also that doesn't matter what your ethnicity is jobs in the economy are always vague.

And I -- -- gaudy record when you were governor of New Mexico I mean.

Meet somewhere in fact check with you here you put on -- hiring freeze and -- cut the budget 7% across the board.

To get your fiscal house in order in New Mexico why can't why can't we do that in Washington.

Well look here's a big difference and look what I was running for president which almost was forgettable experience 'cause I earlier I asked them.

Do primaries I said we needed to have a constitutional amendment to balance the budget now that was in the music to the -- Of a lot of democratic activists I think we need and I think we need to follow the Bowles Simpson position.

But in the states time you know you have to have a balanced budget you have to work.

Your legislators on both sides or -- the fiscal house topples them.

You were in an illegal -- situation here won't balance the budget.

Federal government needs to do that and I think.

Bowles Simpson approached bipartisan.

Cut spending now look at revenues entitlements.

That's what we've got to do.

It.

It it and if there is a second Obama term and he has already gone on the record as saying.

Everything will be -- will be different the people will start compromise and everything else.

Does this second election make that much difference about people because there's so polarized right now.

I do believe a second term will.

Being more bipartisan these voters out there they're fed up Republican Democrats.

Immigration on on of variety of issues.

They want bipartisan solutions on the debt on jobs on the economy and immigration reform.

On energy diversification.

All that comes out of Washington is just -- I think voters are gonna send a message in the house races in the senate.

In the presidential race.

Guy is in and women get your act together.

Or we're gonna have -- the I don't know there's a third party out there a potential.

But I think President Obama because he's trust that he's -- by the American people.

I think he'll get that second term very narrowly.

Well it it's close so the question is.

How do you how do you win from here because.

Is -- one of these things for the person who.

Makes the least number of gaps or does best in the debates.

Did to swing those people that are saying I'm not sure exactly gore won a vote.

For.

Its cool lays out the best economic plan.

That'll come in the president's speech that tomorrow.

Or the upcoming speech that'll come also -- in the debates the three debates are very important.

The vice presidential debate is important.

And this -- com.

From a sense of the American people.

You know voters end up voting for the candidates the most important -- know what it is it's do they trust this person it's almost like ability issues.

Yet but it -- oil president is -- the same look like ability decide I've made.

-- -- trust might plumber to fix the leak in my sink.

But I don't have a -- like come.

Well it's accommodation and that do are probably should've said -- the a little war but but -- do think the humanizing.

Of the president that I thought mrs.

Romney did a nice job of talking about her husband who's you know a bit distant.

But nonetheless.

I think the American people are going to look at the two candidates.

And and basically say who can bring us together and who's on my side.

And that's where I think the president has that advantage.

Current governor Bill Richardson always great to talk to you thanks so much for being -- thank you town about all the best.
