Peter thank you very much search our next guest now who was actually appointed as a -- special assistant to the secretary of the Department of Labor by President Bush and that was before he was elected to congress -- somebody should be able to weigh in on the jobs data today -- north Carolina Republican congressman.

Patrick Henry joins us are right now all right -- threatening come Washington thank you congressman not -- for joining us so.

The jobs data we've been reporting this morning that this was a disappointing.

Report not only because there were fewer jobs added that had been forecast but because the unemployment rate went down for the wrong reasons people are giving up they're not looking for work.

If you are you what does it all that may be the president's pivotal.

Capitalize on this politically because there's a headline that we have lower unemployment in the country than we have before.

-- -- because the fact is American people -- -- determine this election based on.

One key component in is that's whether they personally have a job.

And with fewer people even looking for employment.

It it's it it shows their view and there.

Whether or not they're optimistic about finding work if they they say they're not looking for work it's because they're depressed about.

What what's happening in the real economy aren't any the fact remains that the these that this president's policies haven't worked Obama isn't working and that's why we need to replace with Mitt -- Speaking of Mitt Romney let me I said moments ago that he set down for this exclusive interview.

Holy -- -- got 58 proposals he put out.

It's always too much.

For for us to talk about it in an interview it but he -- five broad areas that he's gonna focus on as president.

This -- candidate in Mitt Romney has been.

A more specific than what we've seen and in previous presidential elections -- put out a solid economic plan.

This the reality is that we have to look at this election as a choice between two very dramatically different paths I mean.

That's one thing that both parties agree there to dramatically different approaches.

If you look at the long range approach here.

We created more jobs -- -- last year there were creating this year the economy is stalling not getting stronger.

And that put this in perspective -- 96000 new jobs created this month -- we had 3.4.

Million new college graduates.

This year.

And they're having a heck of a hard time trying to find -- -- aren't congressman thank you very much for coming on today appreciate it.

Well thank you congressman Patrick McHenry from a very reports that North Carolina swing state again we think --
