Alright -- -- big week for a new gadgets and it continues today with Amazon's expected unveil a new Kindle fire at 1:30 PM eastern our next guest says the latest version.

We'll keep Amazon in the game but is -- an iPad killer.

Joining us now Roger Kay of endpoint technology what do you think of the new fire today is coming out.

-- -- Well I think that one thing you have to do is reduce your expectations for this device to some degree.

It's just a -- fraction of the Kindle fire's gonna have a camera it's gonna have a higher resolution screen could be a little bigger.

And soul you know you got that then a refresher some of the existing model salt.

It's just Amazon keeping up in that sense cannot catch fire -- Dressed -- -- fire -- Amazon get 22% of that tablet market in just nine months but my question is next month when.

Apple comes out with the iPad mania that 200 dollar price point as many expect.

Will that be -- Kindle fire killer.

Well certainly make things little more difficult for Amazon but you have to understand Dennis that the way.

Amazon has positioned its tablets is really as a platform to sell the merchandise that goes through Amazon.com.

So.

For example upgrading the screen and putting a camera on it implies more video contents so.

You look at what happens on cells and one of the things that -- his movies so you can imagine that really the ability of the company to solve.

They're very nice tablet at a very aggressive prices because it's really making its money.

By selling people who have those tablets merchandise from its store.

Right so they have a a whole extra multiplier effect there that.

That a mini iPad from apple will not have validate many iPad from apple will that -- -- -- 600 dollar sales of the big.

I -- over an apple is that bad frankly.

That's an interesting question it might do a little of that but does apple also does have access to a lot of content think of the iTunes store and so -- so really.

They compete in that area but I think it's it's.

Probably.

It should be understood that the fire is not really trying to compete against the iPad across the board right it's just competing in this one area content distribution so.

You know they keep their prices -- -- may be so much more price cutting going on as a result of this type of competition so apple is certainly going to be keeping Amazon honest in this case okay Roger -- like.

Thirty seconds into more quick hits Nokia big new first ever Microsoft windows based phone yesterday stock dropped 16%.

Is Nokia dead should Microsoft -- him.

Well I don't I don't know about the six.

I guess that we we don't know some things like for example Microsoft has been very reluctant to release prices.

And availability dates and that's made a lot of people nervous of saying well.

-- if it's a real thing he ought to be able tell us how much it costs and what we get it and that's been bothering a lot of a lot of potential buyers a lot of investors all right wolf note if -- companies are people some say Nokia may be a dead -- thank you very much for being let's project K.
