The new documentary -- put the United States would look like if Barack Obama wins a second term as president.
The film 2016.
Obama is America which has made millions already at the box office looks at president Obama's background.
How he may have formed his political views and policies.
And where our country will be four years from now if he wins reelection joining me now -- director.
2016 Obama's America Dinesh D'Souza.
And I -- but this in my radio show the other day and we couldn't get people to stop calling about it.
And that build the one thing that comes out I think a lot of people think.
This is just a hatchet job this is a hit job you know some sort of bashing the president and the audience called and said no.
Really informative about a man that.
It surprises me presidential history usually knows everything about people what you've done is.
Pried open that presidential history -- -- where he came from and what how we what makes him tick.
-- the book is Obama's America and what I do and and as I dig down into all the peoples.
Who formed Obama's mind started with his father.
And Obama admits this is on book is dreams from my father and sly look and see what kind of a man was Barack Obama senior.
And he was a radical the Third World guy he's a guy who saw America as the rogue nation in the world he saw the west as being an oppressive society.
He wanted to see global economic redistribution.
And -- also believe in using the power of the state to bring down private industry he wanted state control of the major industries -- his focus is.
Is all the father yeah -- I just say look Obama in his own words talks about going to his father's grave taking their dreams from his father so let's -- -- the ideology of the father.
With the actions of the sun.
Let's see of Obama in the White House is doing the kind of things of Barack Obama would do if you.
The president and yet you also have a similar background -- the same ideology but a similar background of -- -- came from India where there was a lot of colonialism by the British.
What Obama's father was concerned about colonialism by the British you came to America.
You basically this is this is a history documentary.
-- -- global guy like Obama not because I grew up in India I came to America I see America from the outside as well as from the inside.
And -- so -- Obama.
We think of Obama as like this multicultural guy went to Harvard we -- -- he lived for years of -- -- life in Indonesia.
And he is also made multiple trips to Pakistan and to Kenya.
So here's a guy who I think sees the world by focal.
He sees it from the American angle yes but he also sees it if you will from the global angle and ultimately I think Obama's agenda is a global agenda.
You used his words his voice and a lot of the movie.
-- -- see this is what what is so crushing because the critics keep saying well you know there when I wrote my -- about the roots of Obama's -- -- well how can you say he's so influenced by his father.
And I realize that Obama read his own book in audio books and I thought you know -- if I can make a documentary and a critical points.
I can play Obama's voice.
It'll settle the argument so right now there's a sort of almost -- silence about the film on places like MSNBC.
Because the fact of the matter -- but nothing to say you can't argue with Obama I think we've got that with the message from the horse's mouth let's take a look a little bit of of the movie.
Obama has a dream -- dream from this yeah.
Dead -- -- -- colonialism in recent bright and America the downside risks.
This is again not a not a hit piece this is basically you're just trying to say this is what makes this -- Yeah look the film is made by the guy who -- Schindler's List to refill that in Hawaii in Chicago -- in Indonesia and Kenya we talked to people who knew Obama -- his mom knew his dad.
I talked to George Obama the president's brother.
I think what's effective about the film is it shows that day and there are contradictions at the heart of Obama.
He talks about the fact that we -- obligations to the -- one of his favorite phrases from the Bible we are our brother's keeper.
Yet we -- in the film here is his real rather a half brother George Obama.
He's living in the whole -- -- slums of Nairobi and a few dollars a month he has to walk through sewage to get to the nearest street.
And yet Obama hasn't contributed one penny to help them.
So in some ways this seems to raise the question.
Is Obama hypocrite how could -- say one thing into another soon but at the -- I'm I mean here we are coming up on -- election and you're talking about what America will look like if he gets reelected.
If he gets reelected and all of those things that make him up part he continues to try -- transform America using his words.
The beauty of our system is he only gets four more -- destroy America in four more years.
His goal is not to destroy America it's to make America an ordinary country see you have to remember that America has been a special country now for seventy years.
I came in 1978 as an immigrant why did not come because I realize that being an American in the -- being special in the world.
America has an outsized influence in the world our culture our values.
The American passport is better than any other passport the American dollar can be used anywhere in the world.
I think Obama is bringing this American hero to an end and my big fear.
-- having bet my life on America is that this American hero will be finished by 2016.
China and other countries will then surpassed the United States has global powers and the American moment we'll have vanished -- not come back again it is debt.
On purpose is he running the debt up on purpose.
Well -- remember there was irresponsible spending before Obama but he is taken into a new level I mean the bush deficits for about 500 billion.
The lowest Obama deficit is a trillion dollars to -- out of five trillion to the national debt.
Four more years five more trillion America would be twenty trillion dollars and that.
See I think one of the things about that as -- -- lot of that money to foreigners to kuwaitis and saudis and Chinese.
So I don't -- Obama intends this but it seems to me that what's going on his dad is a way of re distributing wealth away from our own children and grandchildren.
Toward people and other countries' debt as a weapon of global equalization.
People are had to look to find your movie but it's doing.
Amazingly well it's the number one movie per screen in America right now this is usually where they wind up -- -- houses.
And they don't make a lot of money but you've already made millions of dollars -- at least revenues off the box office.
And and on.
What -- you started with very few screens are now over a thousand screens are you getting more distribution in the -- A couple of weeks.
Oh yeah how many -- going from 11100 screens where we are currently 218100.
Screens this coming weekend and it's -- that theaters are begging for the film and in there it's just very profitable for them.
I answer real thrilled because you know Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11 which is the most successful documentary.
Came out in the large number of screens at a massive Hollywood studio behind it we started in one screen in Houston that we went to four screens in Houston.
But we've we've ramped up rapidly so we were at a 150 screens than 11100 screens.
Now -- almost 2000 screens.
What what is the difference when somebody says -- it's just a Michael Moore film.
Not at all in fact Michael -- -- film was stunts and it's fast and loose with the facts I think if you follow this stuff on the you'll see I'm a college president.
It begins with the mystery of Obama and it takes you on a journey often using Obama's own soundtrack so to speak.
And it allows the viewer to make his or her own mind up about who this guy is and whether the theory advanced in the film.
That he that Obama has a Third World ideology which is anti capitalist and in some ways -- -- shrink America.
You can make up your own mind that's right are not the thesis -- -- foisted on you it's presented with the evidence and uncommon arguments is.
