For the past week Kennedy has been our correspondent at the Republican Convention I ask her to try to cover what the mainstream media -- So she first checked out the anti capitalist protesters complaints about corporate rule.

-- -- -- -- In these complaints about Wall Street.

Kennedy saw hypocrisy it.

-- -- Failing snacks while they all fly united and they all pumped their hearts -- Chevron gas.

Stayed out of the corporations.

And I mean because they -- really worried about environment look at a computer do you.

I used a five year old Mac.

And corporation I know I see that they did -- -- computer I've -- mine had I don't think so.

Kennedy dead they make any sense.

Extensive themselves the and I kid you think either going to be the freedom lovers.

Want their own set of lines.

They really don't love freedom across the board -- -- their.

Hypocritical what are the.

I hear there are there are people who call themselves anarchist there.

In they're calling for more regulation.

They are they they want regulation on corporation and they want -- at their own form of government smothering.

Even though they've they say there an -- -- where the pretty masks and it's hypocrisy across the.

-- RI while there they -- there weren't that many of them so let's move on because Kennedy also covered the convention.

With Ron Paul's success in mind Republicans.

Kept talking about.

Freedom and opportunity.

The party aren't really -- -- we couldn't agree to disagree on certain issues but the end of the day we have the right message and breaking it went.

On Tuesday Ron Paul delegates try to at least nominate the -- they hit pledge to represented.

For the Republican rule since the thank you need delegate signatures from five states.

Hold got petitions from the event at Minnesota native Iowa landscape.

But the party.

Then changed the -- on the spot they sit delegates need petitions from eight sticks in other words it's like changing the goal posts and middle of the game.

So Ron Paul made a brief appearance in the convention floor but.

Nothing official.

Can he caught up for them right before he left.

Doctor Paul congratulations on your campaign and igniting your supporters passion we haven't seen those delegates.

They -- so hard to their -- they're really fighting down their what did you say to them when you went on the floor.

Well it's mostly been pretty much -- -- encouragement thank you I love your enthusiasm.

Do your best and that sort of thing.

Nothing no particular risk.

There fighting for the soul of the party they want to keep your message alive how do they do that.

MAS to do what they think they -- that yeah.

Some people may run -- people might support on the candidates some credit risk to study.

And that's what amazes me that you should go and study -- -- and they read economics.

And they changer careers and also in the utterly amazed about what what they do.

One thing -- -- have another -- passionate -- thousands of people show.

Few politicians get anywhere near distrust him even Ron Paul -- -- certain lines so many come.

I can't claim anything special all I can claim is -- sincere interest determination and conviction.

That the spirit of liberty the principles -- liberty and all that we congrats they're correct.

And I always say I recognize my shortcomings and I don't pretend that you know and the greatest speaker handles.

But I am convinced.

-- we pursue and follow up and it being a -- cause of liver that was given us an.

We don't have to go back to the dark ages of authoritarianism.

Are we are the future and I Wheeler to -- we are the future.

Well a lot of people and.

-- -- that rally talk about young people they are the future Gary Johnson the likes you except that the tonne from you is that yours to pass and are you willing to do that though.

Having -- -- to pass anything yet you know -- support him.

I think he's wonderful and I he's doing a good job then people should look at him in every individual should make up their -- OK yeah he wouldn't come out really and endorse Gary Johnson Gary Johnson for those -- you don't know is the Libertarian Party.

The head of the Libertarian Party take -- Ron Paul has run as a libertarian.

May be -- Kennedy what do you think.

About you.

I think that that he stopped -- endorsement but I think you're gonna see a lot of -- -- -- have been disenfranchised.

At this convention by the Republican establishment they're gonna take a good hard look.

At Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party.

The -- like held a press conference today outside and not to spend the Tea Party movement.

And other grassroots movements like Rick Santorum -- -- washed with these rule changes.

And they're not happy about it.

Are well I have a point of view and I'm okay with Santorum big squash but I didn't like Ron Paul being squashed and and that his delegates there at that -- was there acceptance this is just part of the game may be.

Our Ron Paul's son Rand will carry on the banner or are people were where they upset.

-- the delegates have worked so hard they were upset and -- side.

To get him to speak on stage they -- what ever they could to get him in nomination.

It didn't work and they were turned away.

Will they turn to Rand Paul -- they turn to Gary Johnson.

Time will tell and it's up to the individual that's what Ron Paul.

Wanted to get across -- supporters they played a tape.

Ron Paul and afterward a lot of the Paul delegates just walked out protests today.

Yeah did did the convention notice that -- was it a big thing small thing.

No they they did notice that there is discord within the Republican Party.

They're trying to make it seem like this is a completely united party and it's just simply not and we have seen the fissures exposed this week.

And if Mitt Romney loses.

The party will does all the little bit -- will have to reinvent itself.

I'm impressed that you can walk and talk among all those people -- -- thank you do.
