Read bears -- via our special report on Fox News Channel joins us now from Tampa there was a quick preview of W Christie and and mrs.
Romney last night before we talk about Paul Ryan.
Sure O'Connell would've morning I tell you and Romney by all accounts here in the hall.
Really hit it out of the park really identified with people here.
And that the thought is is that -- have a an implication for women who were tuning in across the country.
Chief you know humanize.
Mitt Romney she talked about in a way that a lot of wives and mothers.
You know.
I think just judging anecdotally from the reaction.
Can identify with Chris Christie.
He really had a substantive speech where was the Republicans -- They believe and Democrats would they believe -- but he did spend a lot of time on his own personal story which critics were saying.
May have been too much.
Took him awhile to mention who is the.
I think how many this year Mitt Romney you're right about that and I'm sure Paul Ryan won't take as long tonight but if you had to say.
There's one thing and now everybody says all this is the speech of -- life and we're gonna hear that over and over until we actually delivers that -- -- -- And beat expectations or be -- if there's one thing we should look for tonight that's a key.
For Paul Ryan what -- it is.
I think the personal story his personal story you know he is a guy who loves to get down in the weeds on policy.
On taxes on budget on entitlement reform.
But when he talks personally.
I just talked to him this past week about.
You know he was -- rethinking whether he wanted to -- congress back in 2006.
And he did that in a tree stand while it was bow hunting.
Near his home in Janesville Wisconsin.
Those kind of stories he can tell perhaps better than most politicians because he comes off as authentic.
Some politicians he comes off as cheesy -- self aggrandizing.
For some reason he pulls it off and most people say I I believe this -- And that'll be interesting to see if that's a direct I'm sure that when police department will be the direction -- -- -- as you say he's known.
For the policy side that Bret thank you was always watching tonight -- time.
-- there on the Fox News Channel heading up their election covers on the -- Kelly and his own program special report.
Every weekday at 6 PM.
