Republican National Convention -- last night and Romney's heartfelt speech.
In an attempt to humanize her husband for voters stood out joining us with much more -- this is special correspondent for stock.
Eight great -- you look at hey guys how you know doing great so so let's take -- Enron you start show last night.
I don't TV grade I you know they're really high expectations kicking out ranks First Lady read and should mean -- -- didn't seem.
-- interesting come Paris and clear and I -- not -- -- really beautiful and and she was confident she's very eloquent and I don't she did what she was meant to -- -- I'm excited believe it or not I don't know if you agree or disagree -- to -- Condi -- tonight it's almost like she's having a resurgence in her political career.
Yes she -- she's having a moment she was just here.
In the on the fox campus moments ago so it was a big star -- But I yeah I bought it in it's it's interesting because last night it was kinda ladies night.
And Condoleezza is going to lag carry on that tradition I -- the woman did very well last night Nikki Haley had another great speech and I learned a lot about South Carolina it -- Interesting read a lot of the women and -- -- love GOP.
The congressional candidate is well actually impressed a lot of people did you listen to any of of her comments.
Yeah I was able to to hear it almost all the speeches last night and that -- was the only one who seem kind about a place.
And why honestly I I got.
There wasn't about his time maybe it's -- I'm libertarians I'm right on heats Rick Santorum can't eat maybe there was something about his sound then that seems.
-- -- place and I -- Chris Christie did really well.
But it wasn't the huge night for him though a lot of people anticipate -- more people are talking about amonte and on the yield -- spoke.
Before Governor Christie.
And of course Paul Ryan tonight so I give this to take and that you know he so wants he he he's good at math that's -- great he had the big Ryan plan unveiled last march but you know we don't even know with Romney right here on the same page or what they're gonna come up with next for budget Medicare and all -- this.
If you walked the fine line between making it interest staying.
And -- voters gravitate toward it.
Or is it just -- you know place to sleep.
Well -- -- got a lot of strength and the fact that he is so Smart and so well versed in policy is one of them but also you have to remember that he's young.
He's got young children -- the Family Guy he's really active person and he completed those strikes people know that about him but if he can connect those things.
The policy aspect and his youth if he can connect those warmly can be very good night from I didn't have high expectations when I saw him in June gave a speech.
Just few months ago.
But the entire room was sort of electrified this is obviously before.
He was announced as Mitt Romney's VP pick.
So I've seen him and I analyzed setting in a bid will like that with a tough crowd and he did very well so I know he has that in him.
But he and I don't think he's going to steer into.
That territory getting too deep in the weeds but still trumpeting the successes he's had.
How is hurricane eyes it's still a distraction obviously the convention got a late start and -- -- so much focus on.
On this storm in so many delegates and others were -- a lot of key governors Jindal of course of Louisiana is not there.
-- our convention goers now would you say -- squarely focused on on the business at hand.
Well.
And they couldn't have a repeated that and I think that's one of the reasons that -- shows to forgo the first day of the convention.
Because they cannot afford to come off as insensitive.
In you know the -- of another hurricanes had to speak.
-- I -- in in that regard it was Smart for them to put it off.
For a day and that they just have to be comfortable sharing headlines and being sensitive and I think a lot of the speakers.
Were -- it did a good job of that acknowledging the people who were in the storm's path the first responders and being thankful that we live in a country where we can learn from our mistakes.
Appreciate your take a whole lot -- thanks lot.
Think the bank but -- -- -- all this right.
