All right well is it revenge of the fat cats -- way to -- glory years ago Wall Street banks bent over backwards to support President Obama.
But the GOP convention gets under way in the latest contribution.
The -- the figures are showing.
That is just the opposite is now happening Charlie Gasparino and -- thank your covering all the latest buzz on what's going on the Republicans -- now move into the GO.
-- Well because -- about five minutes ago I was covering I think the hurricane because it started to pour here and I.
I give you know noted we it could be it could happen any time but anyway let's get through this -- hopefully reports are -- and I don't think he should pose it as a question is it revenge of the fat -- it is prevention of fat cats.
Everybody -- Wall Street was moving towards Romney if you look at the latest numbers the numbers on the eve of the convention.
They're very very dramatic it's basically Wall Street except for a few lost souls out there.
I think Larry Fink at BlackRock and UBS Bob wolf former -- a UBS most of the big Wall Street CEOs are out.
And that is and they're moving -- -- enter -- Romney camp and that is being reflected in the numbers Wall Street has basically Obama has no banks no banks.
In his top ten contributors.
Eight of the top ten contributors this is outside the super pacs and things like that the stuff that stated right now.
Eight of the top ten contributors for Mitt Romney are banks should point out that Goldman is -- Goldman Sachs.
You know these the subject to target of a lot of -- from what Occupy Wall Street and all the class warfare guys.
They are and Romney's number one contributor I didn't think that would hold you know I was -- -- reporting that there were number one of few months back.
They are still now as this race is just about a coming to an end with the with this convention and I guess next week's Democratic Convention they are they are the number one contributor.
They are not not even in.
It Obama's top twenty now that is key.
Remember last time 2008 Goldman Sachs was the number two.
Contributor for for -- then candidate.
Barack Obama I think behind the university California which you can't get a more liberal than that but that's -- Goldman Sachs was.
We should -- -- the financial industries a second biggest contributor to the Romney campaign.
Still there are financials people I would say largely in hedge funds and some private equity got to give -- Obama there about their number six but still.
You look at the raw numbers it looks like Wall Street is moved.
Very very very far into the Romney camp and like I said if you talk about names.
I know of two prominent -- -- overtly support President Obama.
It's Larry -- a BlackRock he said it.
And a -- people think he'd do if -- Obama gets reelected he's got a good shot of -- Treasury Secretary charity secretary and Bob wolf.
Another name possibly distressed sector I would say it was between those you gotta give the edge to Larry -- just because of what he does he runs the biggest money management firm into and it.
And a world now just to say why -- they doing -- well the class warfare stuff.
I think the -- -- call them fat cats I believe it was on sixty minutes right if the Scott Brown -- -- Massachusetts.
That was it that combined with Dodd-Frank.
After 2010 and Wall Street moved firmly in in the Romney camp guys back to you.
So Charlie this is what I find interesting about in particular Obama's top backers you know unions.
On those on that list and the top weird guy -- -- -- we have unions no unions.
-- seems to know unions at least in the top five that you sent US and a lot of background and yet and it's a lot of California where the Republican Party is virtually incidents.
Right universe yeah -- -- -- Microsoft Google base there.
Well I mean I -- the way I saw the list who was.
Comcast the owner of NBC right there on the top ten list.
Kind of interest seen that might mild place is very much in supporting -- -- Obama.
Well it's got Harvard and there is that a surprise number I harbor -- that I guess if you -- and who else is it in places like California and yes money -- -- -- universe my California.
Of my like most tech firms very heavily debt you know -- dog Democrats mark Mark Zuckerberg of surprise FaceBook is on there.
I think he held kind of a mini town hall meeting many fund racists like Istanbul meeting.
With would present Obama about a year ago so you know West Coast tech firms.
Obviously give a lot of money that is president but you know I will say this I don't ranks the highest this.
And and eventually -- say this we talked a businessman and a as a whole.
They are very disenchanted with President Obama -- all you talked whom they really believe that this is of president that.
-- you know doesn't have its priorities right you don't launch obamacare.
Another mandate on business when you have 10% unemployment.
Stimulus plan back in 2009 obviously not work and so when you guys -- this as a question.
I would never do that the fat cats are clearly in Romney's campaign -- say that.
And you -- -- -- -- portion showing us exactly that Charlie by giving us a list and showing us that Wall Street really is behind.
Romney at this point it is given administration that has not been business friendly is really been.
Very very top on these financial.
And on and on the -- on the offensive -- called -- names you know right -- them signing up and dividing the country and really dividing the country Charlie Gasparino you've been all over it thank you so much.
