Elegance to the convention.

So what role would those huge number of delegates from California how about -- -- convention.

Joining us now is mark stand -- He's on the phone he's from Frontline strategist he wants to be on the -- all but the rain in the wind of get team in the hotel I believe right -- welcome to the program.

A -- why am I hearing.

That -- the convention the California delegates will play a role and that role will be to shout down and or oppose wrong poll delegates -- they get out of line.

Are you hearing them.

-- you know I I hadn't heard anything like that in -- this story that we're getting this morning news more than a sense of optimism about the future Californians if Republicans can finally get their message together and step up to the plate we have governor Chris Christie with a huge -- here for the California delegation.

Talked it was a breakfast this morning it's that you guys gotta get your own backyards and you -- fight for everything just like we've been doing in New Jersey so there's an energy there that I think that we're not gonna have to worry about any kind of mischief making that's going out at the convention especially now dealing with the the issues from the storm and and -- to -- into the area.

I think more importantly -- -- what can we do to try to tell the rest of the country.

Don't make the same mistake for the Democrats have been making here for the last forty years in California and what they continue to -- for the rest of the country.

Does it does that does the California and delegation does it really have any impact of of them.

Putting the message out his what you should not be doing.

Will be the impact that we have is that we've got a lot of very influential people get Kevin McCarthy for instance who's the majority -- -- from -- We still California.

If he's putting a strong message out there saying that you know what the congressman can actually increase.

Their republic of the Republican gains in California's state we got about twelve races that are going to be impacted -- and we think we can actually pick up a couple of seats because that the -- -- finally turning I think near the Golden State you know was what was -- -- -- -- you know -- at the very bottom of every single leading economic indicators -- -- business -- mistake we're -- tax revenues.

And yet the Democrats continue to want it to be the power brokers -- -- down on on higher taxes and instilled in economic and and regulatory policies.

And and and continue to to put this this -- on the on the edge of collapse and it that -- in the collapse you know think about what's gonna happen with the rest of the country follow suit.

Now does President Obama win by eight points ten points fifteen points how many points does -- -- by telephone because you -- -- gonna win.

Well you and I talked earlier about that -- asked -- how many -- -- I'm thinking still Obama is still.

The reasonably popular he's polling at about fifty to 53%.

I I think that that's about where he's gonna end up in the states -- that could be a lot closer the People's Bank.

But it you pointed out before the beginning but he reasonable and at least.

But that that you know the state might not -- read all the the certain now that's not to say as Chris Christie goes before we should get -- their insight and every single one of those -- is gonna matter because it also helps the down ticket races here as well.

And we got to start from the bottom up to rebuild the California Republican Party.

-- -- -- -- -- -- We appreciate you being with us hope hope to see you at the convention when -- -- on the -- thanks -- -- -- -- here.
