Well quite a surprise in the latest issue of the Newsweek magazine.
-- professor Neil Ferguson says Obama has to go because he has broken his promises.
It goes on to say that the Republicans path to prosperity is our only hope and -- -- company announced at -- offer up that.
-- Barack Obama in the White House.
Ed you're also the foreign editor of Newsweek and what were you surprised that they would actually do this is Neil Ferguson -- rate of a -- itself.
Yes Neil Ferguson is very well respected.
On both sides of the I'll both Republicans and Democrats he's a brilliant guy.
I think this piece is going to be a signal.
To an awful lot of people in the mainstream media finally.
That maybe they should start taking a harder look at.
Barack Obama do you think it's a signal from.
President Obama's best friends in the media Newsweek in this case -- -- to the White House I mean do you think maybe there to try to help them.
By actually going that's part of putting something like this on the cover we -- Tina Brown who's the editor of Newsweek.
Doesn't have friends she has interests.
At her interest -- -- -- fell issues of Newsweek magazine.
And and I think she.
She's very clever about this kind of thing I think she understands that this is the moment that Barack Obama is showing real.
Weakness amateur.
Maybe this is what what we're talking about -- -- points out the -- this government.
GDP 2010 the president's B 3.2 percent was 2.4.
And 2000 limits that would be 4% was one point eight.
This year he said it would be four point 6%.
We've been lucky to be over 2% you know I mean it would both those promises by the way the -- that thing too big to me compared to the Reagan rebounded from the others but.
Maybe you know he'd been all morning -- I think -- this new -- Ryan.
-- -- -- that Ron Paul Ryan debt ticket I think we are going to see a real.
Focus on the Obama is.
Failure to come through with his promises and I think that what this is what this is all about.
It seems like the magazine though -- is one word that they also did Mitt so -- a couple of weeks ago right so isn't this really.
As you pointed out Tina Brown.
And her.
Excellent excellent at marketing her magazine.
I think this part of them -- no doubt about that but you know.
For hurting get denial for Ferguson to write for the magazine in the first place -- a big -- Because he is very highly regarded and I think this is.
-- realizing that this is the momentum that -- achieved.
That's a terrible word -- zeit Geist you know being on the on the cusp of everything she understands that this is a moment when Iraq is showing real.
Real weakness.
Aside what do you think it will be you're saying that music possibly sending a message to the White House but what do you think is will finally -- the message to those that didn't vote in President Obama.
That it's not working and we need to get somebody -- Brack Obama needs to hit the road what will be the major thing for vote.
I think they'll finally see.
That you know this entertainer as president which is what we've got somebody who's great at performing aren't rated.
Public exposure you know speech by his great neckties that he wears and elect kind of stuff.
That's not substance in that we've got an alternative.
Now he's Iraq's -- is a rock star campaign -- a rock star except when it comes actually getting that stuff done four point three million fewer jobs since January 2008.
Three point six million people -- to Social Security disability.
A 110 million individuals receiving welfare benefits of some time.
The numbers go on and on -- pointed out this particular article and yet the Republicans seem to be running right now Medicare I mean -- that's.
What do you think about that I -- -- -- -- -- I think it's pretty Smart actually look at -- I think it's Smart because I think it's put.
The Obama is on their heels I think they haven't they never expected this to happen they have been.
Out clearly thrown off stride by this.
Ryan Paul Ryan is brilliant and describing what he would do with Medicare and solutions to other problems.
The one thing I'd like to say about the Neil Ferguson piece in Newsweek that we haven't discussed yet.
Is how he transitions from Obama's failures on the economy and its impact on our position in the world.
And I think that's really -- because you know we are weakening -- such a point.
That we've lost our edge as the leader of the free world.
Again it's a something in the economic numbers really really bear that out also wanna point out that your book is moving back up you're gonna -- number to the editor at -- Iraq general.
They.
