Good to free market be doing a better job of reducing greenhouse gases than the government according to a newly released report.

US CO2 emissions are at their lowest level in twenty years thanks mainly to lower natural gas prices.

Jeff Flock is at a gas fired electric plant and the new Illinois with much more hey Jeff.

Taken this is that dining Jeep plant here in the -- and you know Don -- has a long history with natural gas and I'll tell -- right now you can you can argue about what you think would be best at reducing greenhouse gas emissions but even the government agrees.

With this report that actually it's private industry -- brought it down.

This is what -- Nat gas plant looks like a decade he seldom would -- up -- AG.

Your company as I -- has a long history you originally guided to the natural natural gas.

A corporation -- one.

Yeah M and I started in 1985 as natural gas clearing house and everything yeah.

And am pretty years we've evolved -- -- been primarily a power producer there.

Take a look.

If you would -- -- at the price of natural gas this plant was built in 2001 if you look at back in 2008 Nat gas was one about -- Nine dollars yet we -- see -- -- periods ever ten dollars which I gets really expensive for a plant like asked Iran.

I was gonna say but now because of the drilling this going on in places like the Marcellus Shale -- a Texas and the decode is because of all of that.

Natural gas has come down now to between two and three dollars and it's the free marketplace that has driven this dramatic reduction.

In CO2 emissions I -- you hate those dreaded.

Greenhouse gases taken well we're -- some about it here or create -- -- it's -- to say out like in the hat.

And a goggle.
