Small businesses are expecting weaker sales in coming months as they grew more pessimistic about the economy.

According to a new survey by the National Federation of Independent Business.

NFIB's small business optimism index sank in July to 91 point two.

Down two tenths from June following a -- three point drop a month earlier.

Only two of the index's components improved in July.

While the NFIB index was generally downbeat.

The new ink magazine list of the nation's fastest growing small companies painted a different picture for some businesses.

The fastest growing private companies in America are -- openers there optimistic.

They're hard to put down these are people who grew their companies.

Through what the worst recession since the great depression and they still -- achieve growth rates that averaged over three years a cumulative 18100%.

Some of the companies on the ink magazine list showed percentage increases in revenues over the last three years and that thousands.

Even tens of thousands.
