Focus tonight investing like billionaire Warren Buffett the Berkshire Hathaway chairman and CEO making up pretty big shake up to -- 73 billion dollar portfolio.

Diving into energy energy stocks that is -- you take his leave Matt -- as the CEO and financial group so I wanna start you know.

Warren Buffett has this incredible reputation as an investor does he deserve.

He does is there -- -- you take a look at his track trigger -- last couple of decades.

-- initial was above above the overall market he's been very successful.

Taken picking companies are beaten down he's been successful in both down markets about markets.

The one caveat that -- have though is he's getting up there -- -- and he's not as aggressive as he once was.

I'm so no I think he's actually like little bit of an attempt to performance of Berkshire Hathaway which is his you know stock -- fund.

From the that would mark a bottom in march of 2009 he's about 75% which sounds great -- overall market's up 105%.

So -- been lagging a little bit the last few years.

Some history here very often laughing about Warren Buffett thanks for bringing that.

He's really focused on energy here and I thought that was interesting is while the S&P 500 is up 12% this year the energy sector's only up 1% has the actually identified a sector that has room to run.

I think he does he's typically been known as a value investor meeting -- get some beaten up stocks stocks have underperformed but are now value -- Energy stocks for -- their value place and so I actually think they're very attractive you're going forward and he picked up a couple of -- -- some more aggressive.

I -- -- ask you though about the sector more details of its complicated there's all kinds of different stocks there's services there's.

In production and there's integrated majors -- it goes on and on on what sector deal like.

Well I think one of the as the stock -- -- -- -- NOV National Oilwell Varco so basic they go out there and they drilled they have the equipment.

For -- drilling for oil and gas and we're seeing the big expansion now.

-- -- -- into the waters off the United States but really internationally -- off the coast of Brazil they're going to have very deep water a lot of these actor -- That's -- sector with in oil that I think is probably the RS for -- There's also he also put -- time ago.

And to the conduct a spin off Phillips 66.

-- I think by 27 million shares it was a huge investment.

What do you think of the refining.

We'll support -- good only the -- that the chart is fantastic of the hitting highs since it went public.

I don't -- -- -- having too little too aggressive I'm actually surprised that he's going in the refiners.

-- what they call is -- refining margin called the crack spread is with a call that but it's actually Expedia could go a lot of places but could do.

It's getting more in favor of refiners are recently -- that's -- -- seen them turn around.

The problem is I don't know if that's going to last that doesn't last refiners could lead to see all energy stocks move higher and -- the refiners -- What -- -- like and there's some big names have been overlooked for years ExxonMobil Chevron the big major integrated -- -- I mean they're trading at valuations -- haven't seen in years they pay decent dividends they're being -- -- -- raising dividend exactly -- I -- I think is won't -- as well seven dollars a barrel which it's going to for foreseeable future.

They should do really well also I -- -- binds them right now beaten down.

Our he sold and tell what's trial with technology I don't understand this and I looked up I just bought until a few months ago so I'm not too happy selling it.

I can't understand why sold because it's a value play let's go to the peg ratio under -- get a really nice dividend over 3%.

The chart actually was very strong it's when the leaders in -- have the big name leaders I'm extremely surprised that he sold it and I think technology isn't it similar energy where valuation wise -- the strongest sectors out there.

Well it's all about the technology -- -- what you have its leading edges and -- still leading the pack when it comes to semiconductors.

They ER I mean they're not gonna have the big moves that they had ten years and that's a big difference you're not gonna see earnings grow at triple digits every quarter because they are so big but yes you look at any type of device at their wireless computers you name it.

Intel is still the leading chipmaker they most likely will be for foreseeable future as well.

Consumer products I was interested that and P&G his action on P&G and surprised by do you think he sold Procter & Gamble.

I think he's diversifying a bit you know I'm a person I'd like Procter & Gamble he -- also look at in the -- that maybe he's more concerned about Europe than we your if -- is -- a lot of business in Europe so.

As Europe slows down you see that hit depriving able also to -- the US dollar -- big multinationals as US dollar goes up.

-- earnings go -- that they're Procter & -- well.

A long way to go announced are so are you over all of that a fan of what that was announced by -- -- -- To me is too boring at falsely -- has -- I thought I.

Would guess I'm -- -- our thanks for coming on the show at an actress.
