This morning at a since Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan as his running -- Ryan's Medicare reform plan has been attacked.
But his what Ryan told Fox News channel's Brit Hume about the president's own Medicare plan.
Trying to count by dollar twice he's trying to suggest of these Medicare cuts can help Medicare it doesn't because he's taking those dollars from Medicare to spend -- obamacare.
So the Romney Ryan people -- -- this issue around I'm going after the president on that not running from Medicare they are running.
Audience that's very interesting.
The Wall Street -- pagan and it is still -- and we welcome that thank you you still him not to think glad to be here I am saying in my opinion.
That Paul Ryan really toned that issue around to his advantage.
And change this issue from -- pro Democrat issue to something on which Rome new -- can really run and gain some traction.
What do you -- I'd say the commercial and added that the Republicans put forward yesterday -- saying.
That the Obama White House had shaken down Medicare taken 700 billion dollars -- -- -- to create Obama care.
I think that was the Republicans saying you know one.
When we picked -- -- we knew we were not going to be running from these issues we are going to be playing on these issues that is.
That's sort of high risk high reward -- -- way to go if things but I think that was a very important.
Commercial still I think.
-- this is what strike me about the Republican ticket right now.
Normally.
One party the Democrats this thing will do -- the NC more or less the Republicans are saying we're going to be doing.
But you keep it.
Not today but you don't get down and the weeds of policy.
Because those things your absolute final policy decisions have to be made in -- context of a White House.
With how many people -- my house how many people -- in the senate how what your popularity is in the country it seems to me were going to be getting down -- the weeds in.
This campaign.
With the Republicans being pressed every day is still -- they will be.
Just say you know part of your overall plan is to cut back on some of the tax breaks the rich enjoy exactly which of those tax breaks.
Or tax loopholes or or deductions are you talking about some the Republicans are gonna get hammered on that part.
The Democrats are gonna try not to be the least this specific and to be glossy and emotional for the president to just say.
I'll protect you from those barbarians.
Who are going to storm through the gate and upset the world we let them.
What do you think it -- real fast 47 to 43 to -- his trousers and tracking poll surprised by that.
About what was taken after the Ryan pick yeah I think it did may be straddled it.
I think this thing is gonna be played between such narrow lines were gonna see a lot of forty something vs forty something.
And what's gonna happen one last question you did help with the challenges speech did you know.
I did work with President Reagan Lama met on that extraordinary day and it was an extraordinary speech pagan and and we do hope you'll come back -- is well thank you stay off thanks.
