With Iran.

Or joining me now on the chairman of the Republican National Committee Wright's previous -- and the -- least busy congratulations.

On the new.

The new member of the ticket.

-- as I -- at the outset.

He hands excited conservatives what is the broader reaction within the party as best you can judge.

Well -- I can tell you one thing in small dollar donations I mean have been through the rough -- over seven and a half million dollars in the door -- small donations over the Internet since Paul Ryan's have been named.

And it I think -- base just totally ecstatic but I also think that people.

Appreciate.

And really value the leadership and character that governor Romney showed in picking a person like Paul and it also shows that.

That that Obama addiction ended.

Governor Romney.

Understands that ultimately.

This is about not just a winning but governing like -- campaign.

And the -- key.

If it's interesting to see the general reaction in the in the media the national liberal media finally put it that way because they -- -- and exceeded at least insane.

The governor Romney made a bold unexpected.

And apparently very positive choice as his running mate.

It's so he's off to a good start.

BI credit that respect people are some in the crowd we're seeing around the country just came off of spending a few days of Pall on the road and then rolling.

How does that kick in and it is just been unbelievable crowds have been through the rough people are excited and they're excited about having this debate how to fix this country.

From the president that put -- in the ditch.

And in.

That's one of the things that is kind of I think there apparently compounding to be quarter quote liberal media and that is crowds did you expect this kind of physical war.

-- and apparent.

Our response to his placement on the -- I did I mean I've known Paul for real long time I've seen what he's done in a district two where -- where I'm from as a -- kennel show Wisconsin.

Well known for at at one point had a huge American motors plant -- from Janesville big GM plans could.

Families working class communities.

And a split district you can imagine him and Republicans and Democrats Paul's been very effective.

That's selling his ideas from town to town one on one and and that's what is gonna do across America.

He was trying to sell those ideas talking with our Brit -- today.

And as the news interview went on which I thought frankly he did very well Brit Hume.

Did very -- as always.

But I thought you know we're sitting here talking about Medicare we're -- -- -- Projections.

And the impact the dumps -- on entitlements seven and sixteen billion dollars moved from Medicare -- -- the Obama care.

And then squaring up the Obama -- the excuse me the Romney plan and the Ryan plan.

This is heavy sledding.

And it's obviously heavy sledding for all of the candidates is well.

As those of us in the international media who sometimes we don't like to do that kind of have -- Correct well who don't want things -- get it you get an earlier stuff -- -- and the reality is is that this president promised a couple things that he cut the debt.

But the deficit in half by the end of his first term that he -- -- control of the -- well you can't credibly make those promises.

Unless you deal with what you're going to do.

About the skyrocketing costs of Medicare so.

One thing to -- -- everyone needs to know.

What Paul Ryan had suggested in in this budget proposal from years ago.

Is that any person in America.

Who's 55.

Moreover is unaffected by all of this talk all of the 55 or over.

Nothing of what we're talking about affects you period it's about future generation.

It's and with women amount of time still as -- -- both governor Romney.

End.
