The -- community -- look at the very latest poll on the upcoming election this is Rasmussen Reports President Obama 44.

Mitt Romney 47.

Scott Rasmussen joins us now from his -- cut it in huge that's.

I was stuck having to -- just majority Jessica to me -- this latest poll.

This is Joseph -- it was out this morning a few minutes ago does this -- right lacks the Paul Ryan veep pick.

It's a three day tracking poll to -- -- days were after Ryan was announced as the running mate.

Very little change so far on the morning before Ryan was announced it was 46%.

For Romney.

44%.

For Obama.

One of the reasons is before he was picked as the running mate an awful lot of people didn't know who Paul Ryan was that's why we're seeing both parties trying to define him right now.

I don't expect we'll see a big shift because this will be watching the next few days you know.

Cost people like 'cause -- you know we're involved in the news media all the time of course we know who -- wine is but I want surprised to find that 42% to according to one poll.

42% of the people polled have never hood -- -- Ryan.

That I'm like too much in my news -- is that it.

That's exactly it -- in fact we found that 42% of unaffiliated voters had no idea who Paul Ryan was -- but more importantly.

Two thirds of Americans head of American voters had either no idea who -- was her only a very soft opinion of him.

Ultimately this this flight to defined.

Paul Ryan is going to be more about what does it say about Mitt Romney because the election will be decided at the top of the ticket.

And again and that's why the Republicans -- -- say this is the choice of a small town guy who gets America.

And who is serious about cutting spending.

Democrats wanna say no Paul Ryan is a tool of corporate America he's an extremist who wants to bring Medicare to an end and they're gonna duke -- -- for a couple days on that.

OK -- wanna put ask you about Wisconsin pull rise from Wisconsin Scott Walker's the governor of Wisconsin Wisconsin's been all over the news the last year two years in fact.

Does the pick of poll Ryan puts Wisconsin in play because I think President Obama won Wisconsin in 08.

He won Wisconsin in 08 by fourteen percentage points.

An enormous margin.

All recent polling shows that much more competitive when the president ahead by three to five or six points.

The addition of Paul Ryan could certainly make that even more competitive.

For Ryan got a nice welcome home yesterday.

And I think -- we doing some pulling out of this week to find out just what's happening.

K so so far no movement in you'll polls because of the -- Ryan pick and that's probably because nobody's.

42% of the people are not hood hopeful -- Obama got that right that's how we summer.

As -- that's that is summarized -- and importantly the people who do know Paul Ryan already know whether they're voting for Romney or Obama it's the undecideds the people who weren't really paying attention.

Who need to be introduced to Paul Ryan my tradition is they'll demonize and to death -- tried to I'm sure that's what they'll Mike.

My prediction though is they will make a big mistake in the mistake is this.

They didn't -- the Washington view is it's a choice between cutting deficits and spending or helping the economy.

Most Americans believe the cutting deficits and spending is the way to help the economy very interesting Scott Rasmussen we'll see you again very soon Ohio thanks so much stocks look forward to --
