And new polling shows the trips are paying off the president leaving governor Romney by four points in Ohio.
The latest New York Times quinnipiac poll also shows the president with a -- a six point edge in Florida.
In Pennsylvania Romney trailing by eleven points.
Here to talk about these polls the governor's sagging poll numbers and developments on the campaign trail -- now by the way 97 days to Election Day.

We're watching on on on the unemployment rate in Ohio as you know decline it's down to what seven seven point 2% I believe right now.
That's got to be good for President Obama.
Well it is and I think to a certain extent you know Romney has some problems in the state.
In the primaries he doesn't do as well in the industrial states as he has elsewhere and somebody's got to connect.
The ordinary working people that's what that states about.
You know -- -- different proposition.
Discuss problems down there with.
Women and -- Latino voters but at the end of the day those of the two states everything else doesn't matter if he doesn't win Florida he doesn't -- Ohio as it would get to two cents.
Quinnipiac of the New York Times has Obama above 50% in those three states that you just mentioned.
Florida Ohio and Pennsylvania we'll take Pennsylvania out as you suggest.
No one has won the presidency without taking at least two of the three states so -- opportunities there for Romney.
But what does he have to do you said the -- connect with working men and women and he's got just little over three months to do it.
But he doesn't look for some some reason you know -- -- -- -- he's he's been -- business -- is a -- resonate.
He'd be just can't quite relate to that ordinary guy and the street and that's you gotta do that.
No the president's winning on his personality and and he's not winning on this policy which obviously been disaster.
And somehow ordinary people that -- -- -- this guy.
Understands what's going on in my life he feels he feels what's going on with my kids.
If -- kind of connects a little bit on that that measure he can get back in this race.
So.
You -- -- connect and in.
The fact is the national polls and I understand that this is a state by state electoral process but the national polls still have governor Romney.
And this presence -- As well there's one thing about these polls are you mentioned in the yet the quite a path then they're down down -- like the time I'm likely the prices of those two registered voters.
And it's at their their leadership they've made the shift and they will make the shift from here -- out as they should.
They're little more heavy.
A Democrat then probably I would argue you should measure but at the same time.
Presence above 50% that's we has to be at and we somehow have to bring him back down and obviously he -- -- 97 days to go lets us.
A lot of a lot of money -- -- to be spent but here's my concern my concern is.
I think is a saturation on commercials I think -- so much money they could be spent the people are gonna pay a lot of attention.
But I think the next two weeks Romney picks as vice president he has this convention.
He's got to make some real inroads these next couple weeks.

And and what we're seeing in the numbers though is not an appreciable movement those numbers were -- on the ticket surprisingly in Florida.
You've got a guy who basically relates to Florida he can campaign extensively in Florida -- -- Jeb Bush your buddies are just we -- caught up -- great appreciation form.
And I think a lot of other people I think -- a big victory a stay with Ted Cruz.
We need Hispanic voters and that's that's the key right today to evaluate the use I was and I and I think that's absolutely true.
But the tea parties back and to Cleveland Texas Tea Party has never gone away and and what and what this race -- about yes it -- -- organization.

And how about a damn fine candidate -- -- are right it's he's -- to Kennedy had he's been a great senator Ed Rollins like my pleasure pretty sure.
