In other Republicans at least don't control the control one chamber they don't control -- that senate they don't control the White House.
Obama has gone up on the campaign trail.
It did to really play this class warfare rhetoric and by the way when he talked about millionaires and billionaires.
-- talking about -- yeah in his -- is actually 200 to 250000.
Dollars is not millionaires and billionaires a lot of these people are small businesses.
A lot of these people in in high cost areas are just getting you know that it's it they're not rich not feeling like they're rich.
And of course he knows this and and -- nonetheless so this is not about -- intellectual integrity on the campaign trail this.
It's not but it's it's appealing I mean I think it works for awhile didn't and so that's why a -- like a Mitt Romney house to come along and say look.
-- penalizing success.
And that's again and that's -- -- I thought I think we saw the real Obama couple weeks ago when he said.
Whether or who are Elizabeth Warren when she said look if you build this business -- -- build it.
I think that -- that was such a revelation in such a peek into what they really are thinking about people.
Who work hard.
Who want to achieve who want to get ahead who have a work ethic.
It goes and -- quite -- ways beyond.
What I think most people were.
Understand.
And and have very little realizing a real reason to realize what we're watching the disability rolls in this country -- -- -- Under this presidency it is not simply.
Exportable through -- economics and cycles.
It and we are watching paying an ever expanding.
Dependency.
Just simply overwhelm our society and this government.
By definition insinuating itself and it just about every aspect of our lives.
And in a very little noticed moment by the way President Obama did away with the work requirements and welfare couple weeks ago.
But you mention disability.
-- something I've recently written about.
They work that disability rolls have expanded to now cover from about 1% of people of of the working age population when it started.
To four point 5% and it's going up beyond 5%.
And are we as a nation sicker now.
What's happening is that people it's easier to get disability and jobs are harder to find some people are turning to disability insurance.
The problem says that economic.
Down times we hope at least are temporary but disability insurance is not a new Congressional Budget Office study that just came out says that.
Look most people very very few people leave.
Disability -- most people stay on them for -- you're talking about particularly younger people coming on.
And it just isn't it we it we recognized in this country decades ago and -- and win and which -- welfare reform that.
Can signing people the government aid.
To aid checks rather than paychecks.
Actually -- -- them to a life of poverty and stagnation and they're not gonna rise -- the income level it doesn't help them.
So if -- -- -- people with a disability for example like mental illness or chronic pain where they might be able to work some.
Or this might be temporary and they can get back into the workforce but now they're just they're just collecting a check and there's nothing help them it doesn't help their children.
Now there's nothing -- As you point out in your column -- -- on line.
There is nothing temporary about disability it is all but -- a permanent.
